It could do with a bit of a spruce up as it hasn't changed in 25 years. Bar staff were very talkative. Not sure of prices as I didn't buy the round.

Excellent choice of beers lovely beer garden. Few bits and pieces could do with a lick of paint and repair. Proper old style town pub with lots of character. Recent update and lick of paint looks great

We were made very welcome by the locals. We brought our dogs with us as we were camping near by and googled dog friendly pubs so ended up in here. What a great local,lots of beers and it has a great atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and the dogs were treated to some chicken by the bar lady,we would recommend this pub and will be back for another visit.

A real mix of characters frequent this place.Good selection of beers, no hanging around waiting to be served.I have seen negative reviews of this pub, probably because the author felt out of place as the atmosphere is a bit different.Overall, why wouldn't you....?
