I don't think many realise that this cafe is also open to the public. Staff work extremely hard and are supported by lotto fund etc giving ppl an opportunity to work in the catering trade. Booking advised, especially Thursdays and FridaysWheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility for people who have motobilty issues

As usual the service and food was excellent. The staff work so hard to make sure you have the best experience. I had jacket potato but my four friends each had an omelette. They swear by them!!

Had a cup of tea here one weekday during school holidays.Cafe was decorated for Halloween.Place was empty, bearing in mind this is inside a retirement/care home.Service was very quick. A couple of staff said hello and briefly chatted to my brother (who they knew as a resident there). We did not eat here today. We were told on a previous occasion that they do not accept dogs in the cafe area and there is now no longer an option to eat in the lounge area with your dog because of cleaning the area afterwards. There were items for sale.Parking: Although there is a parking area for residents and visitors it was full today. There was no road side parking outside either as it was also full. There is the option to park at Tesco and walk over but be mindful of time restrictions at their car park.

This is a wonderful place to go for a well-prepared and tasty meal or just a coffee and cake. It is a pleasure to be served by smiling staff who are so helpful and polite. I will definitely be returning

I can’t thank Sandy and her team enough for providing me with such a memorable birthday lunch. The atmosphere was great, the food delicious and Reece’s birthday cake was amazing. You should all be very proud of yourselves, having made one birthday girl a very happy lady. I would highly recommend Cafe Cornell to any one. Thank you!

I eat here several times a week as it is by far the best cafe/restaurant in the area. The food is incredible with very generous portions and a varied choice. The atmosphere is relaxed and extremely comfortable. Staff are warm and friendly and the students are a credit to the cafe and themselves. Having used the cafe for some time, I have had the privilege of watching the students develop and gain confidence. Would highly recommend Cafe Cornell. It's unique and a worth while place to eat at

A very pleasant lunch. Served so well by Lindsay. I had a Mediterranean plate and my friend had a jacket potato. Lovely coffee. I like the atmosphere here. Friendly and helpful. Next time a piece of cake. It looked good.
