Gregg and his team catered our wedding evening food last weekend and it was sensational! All the guests loved it.The pork pies were the best I have ever eaten, the cheese was raved about and the dips were so flavourful. Definitely recommend Elder Street for catering a party or event!

Delightful setting in the countryside for morning refreshments with friends. Delicious cheese scones, teacakes and field mushroom with truffle pecorino. Staff pleasant only criticism is please don't start clearing the plates until everyone has finished eating!

Why is it so difficult to 1, bring four plates of food out in one go And 2, to have already brought the condiments over? Food ok Music great but far too loud

We use this place a lot as the food and service are always excellent, yesterday was no exception!! The extensive menu means we've never had the same thing twice (apart from the amazing Egyptian Breakfast) even though we've probably been there 20+ times! Just keep doing what you're doing Gregg and Anna.

Use this place often, called in in the chance for a coffee with a 93 year disabled mother, all booked which is understand Father’s Day, but young lady suggested sit inside as table not occupied yet and could see how unstable my mother was. Ordered and within 10 minutes literally thrown out of the establishment by the rude, nasty manager who contradicted her staff and said table taken - I shall never use this place again - if felt almost as some other issue going on ?? Absolutely disgusting behaviour !!!

Had seafood platter to share. Found someone and both really enjoyed variety and so much of it someone else in our party enjoyed it to. Burgers, grandson said amazing. Fish and chips firm family favourite too. Still lots more on the menu to try. Be back again soon as possible.

Have not visited here for a few years and it was very pleasant to be back. The menu has increased and there's a great outdoor salvage area and an interiors shop. We had the gyros and chimmi churri steak sandwich and both were delectable. We were too full for pudding so will have to come back for that soon!

Nice setting, refreshments and prompt service. One member of staff must have been having a bad day. Bit grumpy☹

Menu description not good. Ordered crispy crab Mac and cheese. Expected a Mac cheese with crispy top. We were served breadcrumbed cakes that were filled with Luke warm macaroni and a bit of crab, could not taste cheese or crab only dill. Not very good value, not very nice. Queried with waitress when it arrived as thought it was someone’s fish cake. She said it was macaroni cheese, and she seemed a bit defensive, so we did not feel we could say we were not happy , she did not ask if we’re were happy with this. In fact no one came near us to check or see if there was anything else we wanted. It’s saving grace was the fresh asparagus and poached egg on top. We left feeling a bit disappointed and a bit hungry.

Whenever I’m nearby I visit this lovely venue and it never disappoints. Special mention to the new staff member who was warm and friendly.

I really like this place - good food, can recommend the Fens Man Docky (and bacon sandwiches) - so much food but really yummy? -Nice roads to get there on the motorbike and lots of parking, back there Saturday - Stopped by with the wife on our way to the seaside and she loved it too (and enjoyed looking at the stuff in the barns) - so that’ll be 3 times visited this week ?

We called in just for cake and a drink. Very busy so sat upstairs. The cakes (carrot cake and fruit scone) were excellent and clearly fresh. When checking the cuisines of this café on Tripadvisor, I didn’t see any mention of Polish foods. That’s a shame as looking at the menu, there were quite a few Polish dishes that I think would encourage more people to visit, but as I said before, whilst out of town, it was very busy. For those who are still a little twitchy about Covid, most of the staff were wearing masks and as we went in, we, and the couple before us also wore masks. I was also impressed with the lady asking the couple ahead of us if their dog would be well behaved. These attentions to detail are to me, very valuable.

I can recommend the bacon sandwich for a mid cycle ride stop. The coffee is really good too.
