I was very disappointed on my visit to Strawberry Fields on Monday 8th January, we found the tables and chairs very dirty and tired looking. We had an offer which we couldn’t use as they said it wasn’t set up on the till, which I found very annoying!!

We visit here alot & are on very friendly terms with most of the wonderful staff. Foods good, always hot & plenty to choose from, kitchen staff are always refilling trays. Only real bugbear is the toasters - which take AGES.!!!!

We were served by the manager who was assisting on the floor as they were busier than expected. He couldn't have been more polite and attentive. He even took time to high five a small child on an adjacent table. Food was excellent and delivered in a timely manner.

Service was good, staff were very helpful and friendly. Food quality/quantity was poor and wildly overpriced for what I got. Better meals had at my local pub. Won't be back..

Food was adequate. Was charged £6.99 for the third course of a three course meal deal instead of £3.00. This is probably not unusual as the pudding was ordered after the main and starter. The staff incorrectly took off £3.00 from the bill. They did NOT understand that I had been overcharged by £3.99 not £3.00!

Thanks to Tommy and Staff for a fantastic Xmas Day Lunch, everything was well organised with great customer service from Claudia and Rosie, from starter to the main xmas dinner and dessert was excellent, everyone was so attentive, can not fault anything had a brilliant time. A wonderful team driven by Tommy the manager, will be back next year. Thanks again Barry and Michelle x.

Historically I’ve always given this place a miss due to the way the pub/restaurant has previously been run, but on Christmas Eve we decided to listen to the recommendations and give this place a try. We arrived half hour earlier for our reservation, and despite it being busy, Tommy went out of his way to make sure we could sit down straight away. He was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. As it was Christmas Eve, the waitresses were overrun and busy. Despite being the host, Tommy chipped in and helped out to make sure service wasn’t affected. The food was lovely and plenty to choose from. Will be visiting again!!

It was ok. Very, quite not many people in the restaurant. The menu was disappointing. We were in for lunch but there wasn't a good variety of dishes. I find steak and ribs are an evening meal. Desserts are my favourite, but there were too many ice cream dishes, and with it being cold, we wanted something warm with custard. I did have the cheese cake, and it was scrummy. I think . more people in a lunchtime menu would help. I know they do it in the week, but may bring in more people. A couple came in and looked at the menu first and left, and I wish now me and my daughter had done the same. I would be £50 richer.

We dined at strawberry fields last night and we were all very impressed with the staff and quality of our food. I had never dined here before and really enjoyed the atmosphere and most certainly will be returning well done to all involved.

Luke warm food. Poor service. One of our group was told they would not be charged for her meal by the waiter, who was hard to find, as it was only just luke warm. They offered to reheat what was left of the meal! The manager who struggled with English then came over and offered a free glass of wine as compensation. Joke. When it came to desserts we had to go looking for the staff and they were huddled together chatting behind a bar. I ordered apple pie with ice cream. I got apple pie with custard! Did not see any point in complaining. If they can't get something as easy that right what chance do you have? When the bill came the luke warm meal was included in the price. Surprised that there was not a 10 % service charge because they would have got sweet fa from me. Stay away unless you are really desperate, and go to KFC, McDonald's or somewhere similar instead.
