Rooms are clean and spacious but interior is very tired and needs refresh. Staff is friendly and beds are very comfortable. Need to work on their value for money ratio as price is high for what you get….

We had a family room with prepaid breakfast (kids eat free) and I think the pricing was excellent. We slept well and had a good breakfast - staff was super friendly and made us fell like home - thanks and all the best! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Great location to stay if you're visiting Southend. It's close enough to the centre for you to get their with 5 minutes.There is restaurant next door to get full english breakfast for £9.99 or a continental for £7.99.Best of all it has free car parking where there is always spaces available

You know what you are going to get. Nothing flashy. Clean nice rooms and comfortable beds.Have used this site numerous times.If you don't want the breakfast in the pub then there is a Tesco next door, or if you have the time go to the seafront.

We have stayed here quite a few times and it has been ok but this time we was very disappointed ☹️ The bed was lumpy remote control broken and someone above was walking about all night or should I say clonking ?so we didn’t get much sleep ?

Clean hotel with friendly staff. the room was comfortable and facilities accessible. Wifi was poor - probably would have to have bought the ultimate wifi for it to be functional, but everything else was great. shower wouldn't turn off but this was fixed by the staff immediately upon request

Shockingly poor nights sleep, hotel not adequately sound proofed and the company do not honour their good nights sleep policy, saying that I had to get up in the middle of the night to let the reception know I wasn’t having a good nights sleep in order to qualify for their good nights sleep policy

The staff where lovely and room was clean but it was very noisy x lots of emergency vehicles and people in room above thudding about x didn’t get hardly any sleep x bed was very hard too x food was only Luke warm x

Obviously a hotel for a lot of tradespeople as well as ordinary guests. A lot of vans and works vehicles in the car park. Room and communal corridors seem grubby. Kettle had to be replaced and Aircon temperamental. Nice friendly staff though. Strawberry Fields next door was nice. Excellent food. Probably won't use this one again unfortunately.

I booked it doe my parents to stay in doe 3 nights when they come to visit us. The location was close to my house and near a big shop so convenient when trying to get some quick shopping. We had a breakfast on the pub next door and it was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean when we got there and had all the tea and coffee facilities however, the room was never cleaned again through our the 3 nights they stayed. When I asked why? They said it Covid policy and I should I have ask or give them permission for cleaners to clean while staying there. Maybe in the future they should let people know when checking coz my parents would not have minded cleaning their room.

Stayed at Southend Airport for the weekend as I was celebrating my Mum's 90th birthday. I knew that my stay would be effortless and comfortable. As always they lived up to my expectations. Thank you to all the staff, and a special thanks to the cleaning staff for making the effort to ensure the room was clean and covid free.

We arrived an hour and a half earlier than check in advertised but the ace receptionist Tamara sorted rooms out for us without any fuss and with a smile. Really helpful. The room was as expected Premier Inn standard and size. There did sound to be endless footsteps on the ceiling around 0100 to 0130 but no noise in the corridor. Easy location and parking seemed to be adequate (Friday night stay). Only issue was an infestation of ants in the morning on the windowledge which spread onto the curtains, wall and guest bed by the time we left. We reported it but it was on leaving so don't know if it's been properly sorted (room 44)
