Five of us enjoyed ending the day at Southend with a meal at 'Sands by the Sea' restaurant. We didn't mind paying a bit more ( normally eat and walk) but viewed it as a treat for the day sitting at a table with sea views.Clean friendly establishmentWill add it to our return list definitely
We held our beach themed wedding party here on Saturday and cannot praise Kristine and her staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble and they ALL went over and above to ensure us and our guests had an amazing time. Kris is a legend and the feedback from our guests about her and the bar staff was fantastic…. Polite happy smiling, perfect.

We just had afternoon tea at sands by the sea. It was well priced, freshly made to order, plenty of selection but the service was FANTASTIC - friendly, positive, helpful. We did not know what to expect when we booked but would definitely return. Thank you to all the lovely staff at Sands xx
