“Couldn’t fault it! The service was wonderful, both father and son were great hosts and we felt very welcome! The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for the location! I would definitely recommend anyone to try the Food Shack!”

“We were looking for a seafood restaurant and came across this hidden gem, well worth a visit if in the area. Fresh ingredients, unique flavours and decent value for money.
Beverages were good especially the cocktails.
Food wise - Our favourite was the seafood boil ? messy, flavourful and extremely tasty. Firecracker prawns was another fave and good portion sizes. Garlic bread was divine and the best we've ever eaten.
Service could have been better as we would have ordered more drinks if the waitrons checked in more frequently. It was a big bill and the waitress was rude and did not want to add the tip to the bill citing they do not get the tips. That put a dampener on a really good dining experience.
Either way will visit again soon.”
“Food was lovely and good portions. However my friend has a dairy allergy which we made aware to the staff. Unfortunately there was no dietary information and she couldn’t tell us which foods or sauces had dairy in so my friend was unable to eat these. We had two babies with us and another family had a baby and we all asked for a highchair but they said they didn’t have any so we had to go back to the car and get their prams to eat in which wasn’t ideal. Apart from the lack of dietary information and high chairs, it was a really lovely restaurant!”
