When we go there, there was a bit of a wait to get seated but I don't mind that and I understand that they were busy at that time. We were served by Alfie who was great, he was clearly but very polite and helpful so big thank you to him. Good was great and had a nice time. The table next to us were hard work and were the sort that complained to get money off their meal even the it was fine, the manager and Alfie managed it so well.

Met by a friendly Manager steve i think his name was, who found us a table of 4 although we hadn't booked thank you as it was very busy. We all had steaks which were delicious, salad bar was clean and very tasty our waitress friendly and very efficient , we shall return sorry I forget the waitresses name bravo a great place to eat and relax

Went there today at 1pm, my husband can only eat children's size portions of soft food, our server Glenn was absolutely amazing and couldn't help us enough to accommodate my hubby. The food was really lovely and we both enjoyed it and was not rushed. The restaurant was very clean and hygienic would definitely recommend.

Went there for some lunch with a friend ordered our food and went to the salad cart by the time we was back at the table our starters was there OK fair enough we took about 2 bites of our starters before our main course was at the table, we actually said to the waitress wow we've only just started our starters and she asked if we wanted her to go and put it under the lights in the kitchen to which we said no so quickly finished our starters and went straight to the main I had to say to the waitress to not bring our desserts out untill we ask for them to let our food go down, it wasn't busy in there at all and I'm all up for fast service but that was just ridiculous,we also noticed whilst ordering desert as was given the main menu and the dessert menu that its the same desserts but with 2 diffrent prices so be careful,we asked for the bill to see a £8 service charge on there which must be new cos I've been in there before and always looked and always left a tip because there wasn't one such a shame really won't be going back in a hurry

Had a lovely experience at the harvester today with the family. We had a waiter named Liam , who was such a lovely and welcoming bloke while quick on the job. Food was excellent and came out quickly , service was quality. It’s hard to impress a Yorkshire lass n that was definitely done today so Big thank you to Liam and the staff. Would highly recommend a visit :)

We placed our order and was told that what we’d ordered (cod and chips) was not available. We should have been told this before we ordered. We then asked for two x half rack of ribs meals and was advised that one full rack and double chips would be better value. When this arrives it was not enough for two people!! So not great value after all. We then went on to place a dessert order and again was told there was no ice cream - the majority of items included ice cream. Again, we should have been told this before we ordered. We changed the order and had to wait half an hour before it arrived! We were not impressed at all! The restaurant was not that busy when we arrived so this was not acceptable.

Manager does not know the phrase family values and him and his wife (my ex) have stopped me seeing my daughter! He has had me arested for leaving true feedback! I'm hoping the area manager gets wind of this and "fires the cannon" I will see my daughter 1 way or another remember you did not create nothing as great as her !! I have court order which they have violated and am taking them to court yet again !! All so they get more maintenance A child is a product of love and not a paycheck!! If anybody has true family values then spend your money elsewhere!!! Shame I can't rate minus ?

My husband & I popped in for an early evening meal on the way home after day out Waiter Greeter looked around the the almost empty restaurant at about 1630 and said he would look to see if he had a table…. He did of course My husband has mobility issues so slow with a stick so he asked us our drink order before we had even sat down and we said bottle of fizzy water and Diet Coke and he said good as gas drinks off The seats covers were very very badly marked and frankly not welcoming but as long as you lean forward that is okay We ordered a main meal each and waitress said all meals come with free salad cart but not self service but to come up when ready She did offer to take my husbands bowl as tricky with stick so a lovely gesture However, no bread as waitress said no delivery today After about 10 minutes our dinners arrived without my peppercorn sauce but waiters off without checking all ok I went up to bar and caught waitress eye and she went to the kitchen to get it and she did My husband said cod soggy not crispy and chips cold My sirloin steak VERY tough and impossible to cut not eat… mushrooms and tomato cold and onion nest v weird… chips were reheated from lunch After we finished we caught waitress eye to ask for bill and she didn’t ask why so little ate Incidentally all the while we were there the waiter greeter was turning people away as no chef turned up for the evening As we left he was ringing people to cancel their evening bookings as no chef We won’t rush back

Having been to a funeral earlier in the day, we decided not to cook and booked an early evening table at the Shorehouse for three people. We arrived early but were still welcomed in a friendly way. We had not been to a Harvester for some time and we did not know about the rule change on the 'free salad'! Only one of us decided to have the salad. I like the old way of doing things but I did not feel comfortable with pointing out each component I wanted and the amount so did not bother with the salad. We had two sirloins and a rump between us with no additional extras. My wife's sirloin seemed very grissly and she left quite a lot. My stepson's sirloin and my rump were fine. I am not all that fond of eh little pots of chips and peas and prefer them on the plate. The young man who served us was friendly and efficient and we did leave a tip!

Five of us for a last minute week night dinner, including three teenagers. Nice sized portions and something for everyone on the menu. Ribs with bourbon sauce are always a favourite. The salad bar is still not self service, but the staff are happy to accompany you and serve up your selections. Refill drinks are self serve and you can try out the many different flavours. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Sign up for emails and watch out for the 50% off main meals offer for really good value.

Popped here with friends yesterday early evening. Group of 6 which included 2 children. We had not booked and on arrival we were advised there were no tables inside but we could eat outside. Surprised they couldn't accommodate us inside as restaurant was almost empty but I understand others may have pre booked. So settled children outside, decided meals and popped in to order food. We were then advised we couldn't eat\order for outside???? We questioned this as it contradicted what the very same person advised us. He proceeded to challenge this, dispute having spoken to us early. Asked us to evidence we had young children with us and offered no apology for mix up or display empathy or understanding to The frustrating situation his poor advice had created. The service is disgusting. Staff need support and training in customer service. Such a shame as great location but unbelievably rude staff
