Our waitress Lynn was absolutely amazing. She made us feel welcome and was helpful throughout our time here. We couldn’t have asked for more.

The staff at the carvery were so miserable, I don't think anybody smiled once, the lady who took us to our table looked depressed.Went up to get our meal the first 3 plates the chef put back in the kitchen as dirty you could still see the food on there, the slices of meat were so thin you didn't get a full slice of any of the meats, the veg looked like it had been there all week the only thing that was fresh was the cauliflower cheese, so my carvery dinner consisted of meat???, roast potatoes stuffing and cauliflower cheese, when it came to desserts 3 of the choices they didn't have and our cheesecake was served with ice cream as no cream either, overall terrible food, awful miserable service and will never go back, totally spoilt our Christmas get together.

It was our Christmas Dinner, after 4 years this is the worst service we have ever had. We had a Diabetic in our party, we waited 1hour and 25 minutes for the Starter, we kept our Diabetic from going into a diabetic episode by feeding her Chocolate, we will never have Christmas Dinner there again, we took our Christmas Pudding away to eat, it was stone cold. NEVER AGAIN, shame on you, worst thing was we had our Son with us who is a Chef, he was appalled!!!

Breakfast with Santa was absolutely great! The Santa was so so lovely! She's a lovely woman & really took the time to speak to the girls & had conversation with us. Couldn't recommend highly enough she was so sweet!

Kitchen staff were very busy and food was lovely. Service was a little slow we were there 3 hours. Which I guess it is to be expected as its boxing day. All staff were very helpful.

Arrived for an 1830 festive carvery. No turkey, beef and little gammon available. 20 minute wait. Unappetising selection of potatoes, dried up sprouts, carrots and peas. Once ordered, a 35 minute wait for dessert, which should have contained rhubarb, but didn't. Overall a very poor experience. Only the characterful sever helped the evening.

The personnel was all cortesi and ready to serve politely and efficiently. The food was delicious and abundant. We were not far away from the carvery area and in total fairness it was a bit too hot.

Long wait in line for food but not a packed restaurant, even though it was difficult to book.Very small meat portion. Some of our party was seated & finished eating, before everyone was even back with there food.It took a long time to even order desserts & again some of the party had finished their desserts before everyone had even got theirs.Considering its a Christmas menu, there was no Christmas music playing & very minimal decorations. The server wasn't very friendly & didn't even crack a smile. The waitress was friendly if nothing else. Will definitely be going back to our usual site.

Only very recently found out that the Toby did breakfast. Having been around the country and have found the Toby empire to be hit or miss . Thankfully this was a hit . There was confusion at what end to commence the buffet, one group traversed the rope way whilst others just jumped in . It is genuine help your self, I hit the sausages and bacon , great. Extra for drinks. Then balancing your mountain find a table . For a very cold winters day it was quite busy . All tasted very good . but no eggs as bird flu apparently . Don't forget to validate your motor . Clean toilets . Would visit again .

Went for breakfast with Santa, sounded amazing on website. Was totally shocking. And will def not book again, food ok. Nothing for kids to do on table, saw Santa in the corner and all u got was waiting staff coming threw with glasses. No communication with staff as Santa had no more pressies lefted, only because I mention to staff that Santa got more so all kids had to go bk for second time.

Went for a birthday lunch and was most pleasant. Good service and good food! Only letdown was ladies' toilets. There are only 3 functioning cubicles and a dodgy tap! Hubby had a nice time though.

While the staff were friendly the breakfast was terrible. A sign on door saying no eggs sorry, ok but what was the excuse for dried food. It was awful breakfast. Cost me £16 for two breakfast and two cups of tea and couldn’t eat it as it was so dry and we complained and they said they had put fresh out ten mins later, but only the sausages were fresh. It was the worse breakfast I’ve ever had in Toby. Absolutely disgraceful to serve this awful food.
