I have never posted a review before but if one place deserves a bad review, it has to be this Burger King at international departures. I don't blame the staff as they are all working hard but the management/ownership of this location need to take a few courses on how to run an effective fast food restaurant. The staff are overworked, confused and under immense pressure from the endless lines of unhappy customers that are waiting upwards of 30mins.. for a "fast" food option. The screen on display stating 5 minutes or less to fulfill an order? Data probably hasn't been updated in a few years as me and other customers of the restaurant waited for much longer. I waited for 40 minutes, nearly missing my flight. Save yourself the trouble and just go to another restaurant, there are plenty of options nearby. Anything is better than this Burger King location.P.S. the plant based burger had to be thrown out.. seems it came straight from the freezer. The whopper, the one thing BK should be able to perfect, was missing ingredients. 3/10 food, 0/10 experience.

An absolute disgrace of a Burger King. Chaos and wait required to get meal. Bacon chicken cheese burger ordered and they forgot to add the bacon. Ordered a large meal and they gave me regular fries and and a regular size soft drink cup. I questioned what going on and the guy serving refused to do anything about it. No wonder Burger King are so far behind McDonalds. This place is a bad joke. I hated every single second of this miserable, mean, dysfunctional dining experience. There are much better restaurants next to this place. AVOID.

Food is okay, but seating is quite good. Price is a little overpriced, but it is quite understandable as it is on the airport. The burger, nugget, and the fries is good enough.Seating is quite good, place is comfortable, and better than airport seating. Charger is available, and it is considerably less noisy than the main atrium.Purchasing the food is quick using the screen, and food is served very quickly.

Great and quick service today. The food was very good and hot. The only issue we had was that we ordered chilli bites and received chicken nuggets. The drink machines were also dispensing warm and flat fizzy drinks. Would have been better if ice had been available.

Tables are not cleaned and if i tell them to clear the table they show attitude by saying "we closing in 30 min" which is really really rude for the customer's. We've been waiting 20 min now and couldn't order cause the table is full of used rubbish

Took 15-20 minutes to get a cappuccino during rush hour. The screen where they showed which orders were preparing or ready to collect was malfunctioning somehow, since no one's order was ready when it said so. No apology for 30 orders being ready before my simple breakfast menu order. The breakfast burger was ok though and the staff seemed nice.

Horrible practice. They randomly press numbers as ready although they’re not. I think they get their bonuses based on closing the order on time. My number was shown as ready then I have waited 50+ people to pass me until finally they served mine, and I was not the only one. I saw at least 3 or 4 people complaining like me. Oh what’s problem more is, I’ve complained to the restaurant manager, she was well aware and recognized it, I’ve asked to file formal complaint but do nothing about it and asked me to complain here.

Absolutely filthy and the food is dreadful. The tables and surfaces are all sticky and unwiped. The low dividing walls between areas are covered in thick dust …. THICK dust! You can write your name in the dust. The seats have clearly not been wiped for ages and need cleaning. Everything is grubby, sticky and filthy. It needs a proper clean. It was 5am when we arrived so there is no excuse for the filth. We had the breakfast roll. It came with an oversized burger … I can’t say it was beef as it genuinely tasted and had the texture of corrugated cardboard. My first bite made me spit out what I thought was a piece of thin card but it turned out to be the bacon. The roll was horrible and we didn’t eat them. We had sparkling orange drink which was just OK. The only thing good about this place was the exit.

I bought vegan 6 nuggets was charged £ 7.49 which was cold ,completely dried and tasteless,I bought vegan Burger was charged £7.69 again that was cold from inside ,cappuccino charged 3.49 hardly any coffee in it only froth . This makes me sick that after spending £22+ I had to throw everything. I told the cashier sorry I forgot to ask for meal deal - I was told it is too late as I have already rung the sale. This is totally unfair - I agree I should have ask for meal deal in the first instance but it was human error which I corrected whilst I was being served . I feel that reason for this kind of quality product being served to the customers because it is at the airport . I suggest any customer reading this not to buy any vegan products from this Burger King.

I waited 55 minutes for a burger. The ticketing system for the kiosks was not working properly (staff told us to ignore visual indicators that our orders were ready) and there was not even an attempt to warn us of the wait. When I got my refund I commented about how long I'd wated and got "it can take longer" as a response. If your not able to handle the order load in a timely manner (this is a burger king at an airport) stop taking orders.

Hi I ordered 4 meals costing £36.56p prior to catching our holiday flight. The place was very busy, I waited patiently for 45mins but my order was not being called. You couldn’t get to the counter as so many people were in the same position waiting for their orders. Eventually I had to leave to catch my flight without getting my order.We were all very disappointed we didn’t get our meals.I personally am so disappointed I feel I won’t bother going to Burger King again as I was let down so badly.I’ve only just found my receipt again to be able to send this information.

The WORST BURGER I EVER HAD FROM BURGER KING, waited 25 minutes for a extra large double cheeseburger with bacon. It was cold I complained they exchanged it for another one, that was barely warm, the burger was very dry. Didn't have time to complain again or get a refund due to having to catch my flight. Will never use them again at Stansted Airport, I will do my best to let everyone know not to use them. Burger King you SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.

Queues too long in The Windmill so went to Burger King - big mistake. Ordered food quickly enough, but took ages to come and the 2 x coffees took even longer - the staff just kept doing other things and leaving cups on the machine. My crispy chicken meal was awful, overcooked and 2 lumps of lettuce and hardly any mayo. Chips were tepid too. The only decent thing was the coffee was good. Will be avoiding next time at Stansted airport.

Spend over 30minutes waiting for my food, up until the point I couldn't wait any longer or I'd risk missing my flight. Think it'd be quicker to go hunt my food outside the airport than at this "fast food" restaurant
