Not only smiling and friendly dispite from what I have no doubt been a busy day given the number of people around. Her act of random kindness really touched my heart given stuff going on at the moment so I really appreciate it. I tried to go back and see her to thank her for her little note but I had to dart for my flight. So I hope this thank you reaches you!
As for the food, a good selection of cold and hot food, when we went there where plenty of seats if you want to sit. The prices where to be expected for airport but not too crazy. For someone who doesn't really eat a lot of the other food on offer around it's nice to have this place there.

The Rose & Crown Stansted
31 Bentfield Rd, Stansted Mountfitchet, StanstedThis is a lovely pub and a must visit. A typical English pub. The food is lush ranging from salads, fish, meat dishes (my fave - ham, egg and chips) to your traditional (and very popular) Sunday Roast which is served with the best Yorkshires, potatoes and always great choice of meat (be quick though). The kitchen staff are amazing, catering to all needs where possible (gluten free options). With a garden out the back to enjoy a sunshine drink, of which there is a variety of wines, beers and the staff are happy to put together a cocktail on request. Families are always welcome, with young ones able to enjoy themselves on the play equipment in the garden or a game of pétanque! Locals are friendly and inviting in this little gem a pub, it would be rude not to go and give this a visit.

The Cork House
40 Lower St, Stansted Mountfitchet, StanstedSmall but characterful pub. Went for a quiz night which was fun although it was a bit odd as teams were in different rooms all around the pub. It didn't do much for the atmostphere however it was functional over the PA system. Food was being served at extra cost and it was a nice offering with a choice of Tapas food for a set price. This was beneficial if you took two or more courses otherwise rather expensive. It's an old pub which was drafty, I didn't find it comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly although prices generally a bit pricey. I enjoyed the evening and would go again.

Domino's Pizza - Stansted
22 Cambridge Rd, Stansted Mountfitchet, StanstedHad a small muck up when ordering and had to ring up to fix. Lovely manager, Brandon I believe, helped me fix my mistake with no stress, all lovely and simple!!! Good pizzas too?

The Potato Wedges were nicely cooked too and the delivery to our hotel at 1.30am was a life safer as we were starving after our night out.Vegetarian options: The Veggie Burger is on a different level

7 Station Rd, StanstedBombay Butler at Stansted Mountfitchet has been our preferred Indian Restaurant for circa 35 years. We are always greeted with a warm welcome, the staff are friendly and the food is great - try it if you haven't already because you don't know what youre missing!

Unit A SB18, Bassingbourn Road Passenger Terminal, Bassingbourn Rd, StanstedThis airport Pret A Manger location changed my perception of the brand. The Posh Cheddar and Pickle Baguette is something of the divine, made so by the fresh baguette, roasted tomatoes and sweet purée.

First when I searched reviews about restaurants here in Stansted airport I was scared to go to Burger king because of this bad rating. But it was weird for me because on google it has 4,7 of 5. So I went to restaurant to see other people eating. Everything looked nice so I ordered and ate it and me and my wife are happy. No problems and everything was quick. I don't know if these reviews are ordered by other restaurants? But if so it is bad because reviews are loosing its meaning. I recommend this restaurant :)

McDonald's Stansted
Southgate Rd, A120, StanstedI never have any issues when I visit this mcdonald's. I always go between midnight and 5am. The food is 99% hot most of the time. The staff are friendly and happy to help. Be careful tho of the carpark as it shares one with a coffee shop and if you park in there and visit mcdonald's it's a £80fine.
