Popped in here for a burger lunch rather than the usual. The service was ok and I didn't have to wait too long. I ordered the burger and fries. When it came up I was rather surprised by the fries. They weren't fries as I know them but some stodgy peculiar shaped potato concoction. They didn't have a nice texture at all. Not what I would expect James to serve up. I enjoyed the burger.

Second time in a row - I pay extra to get soya milk because my partner is lactose intolerant, but get normal milk which result of me having a bad day and my partner suffering! Worst place at the airport, never again!

I tried the avocado & egg buttie & was happy with the size and quality. However my wife, who had the bacon buttie, wasn’t as impressed with hers. The restaurant was clean and staff helpful enough, so this ended up being a fairly standard experience.

Place is good but the food quality is not good at all . They serve us un cooked pain au chocolate my wife back again to them they gave her another one and again is not cooked I cut it in half and i went back to them they change it to me but i took a plane croissant .Coffee is horrible I am sorry to say that but it is .I usually don't give a bad review but this reviews is helping owners to do something about the business .

A favourite when passing through the airport.. good quality food but not the cheapest.. still it’s all for a good cause .. a Yorkshireman’s pension fund ( his morning mine) Great range includes vegan and gluten free options. Thanks

On business trip and food was nice, quickly served and received excellent service from waitress (Zoe)

Worst experience at an airport cafe to date. We wanted home cooked food to fill us up and start our trip. We arrived and waited eventually we were served, however we had noticed people coming in and sitting at the end of the counter. On getting our Coffee and bacon butty it was far removed from homemade and was Luke warm at least. A rubber egg and a hint of bacon. Whilst we sat there the people we had noticed sat at the end of the counter were airport workers getting free coffee and some were having food. Oh than that’s why there was a queue mates first. I can’t believe James Martin can put his name to a place like this, never again.

I am a chef myself and always regarded James Martin as a proper chef. However I CANNOT BELIEVE HE HAS PUT HIS NAME TO THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! It claims to serve PROPER BRITISH FOOD..... That my friend... is an insult to British food..... i can assured you PROPER BRITISH FOOD it is not!!! It makes other fast food restaurants look awesome in comparison! MAYBE YOU NEED A HELPING HAND FROM GORDON RAMSAYS KITCHEN NIGHTMARES!! I waited forever to get a cappuccino whilst the girl making the coffee was having a full on conversation with an off duty staff member who was wearing her own clothes behind the bar next to the coffee machine. (Not work related of course) all she had to do was press a button and heat up some milk, it was the only one on order. You get better coffee out of a self service machine in a hospital & when the bacon butty arrived that was an experience & half too, it was filled with two pieces of dried out re-heated bacon in a bap that children get in a happy meal. Nobody clearing tables so all full of rubbish, it wasnt busy, half empty if anything.... just simply no one clearing tables, so i have to clear my own..... I paid &8.50 for the privilege!!! I think other reviews explain the whole shambles pretty well. WELL DONE GUYS YOU COULD NOT HAVE GOT THE THE WHOLE THING MORE WRONG!

Should not be located in an airport- 20 min wait for a cold mediocre breakfast roll. In the end my order was not even called out.
