My favourite Chinese place, just had lunch here, Jasmine Tea, chicken and sweetcorn soup, and egg fried rice with chicken in black bean sauce, absolutely delicious! Been here before for the buffet and definitely recommend! Without a doubt the best Chinese I've ever been too.....

I use Phoenix a lot, the last two times I have been there it’s been nothing but terrible. The ribs are grisly, the chicken balls are oily and noodles aren’t even cooked they’re still hard, when I rang to ask why are the noodles not cooked the woman on the phone was very argumentative saying they’re not supposed to be cooked even though I’ve had them 100 times before

Brilliant little restaurant, simple yet authentic decor was really nice,very clean , service was fantastic, and most importantly, the food was amazing, portions very well sized from the all you can eat menu, which made it easy to sample multiple dishes without over eating or wasting....(ok, definatly over ate, but that's because it was good) lolwas very pleased when receiving the bill at the end, very reasonable.Left with a (very) full belly and a smile in my face.

First time customer. Singapore fried rice is packet ready to serve Mexican rice. It has peppers in it! King prawn in batter was burnt. When I sent a message to complain they sent me a smiley face. I asked for a refund and they said “no, thanks” Never again. Sue

Not a good first experience. Food was ok. We were booked for 4pm and was there on time I was very hungry and had my little ones with me. We got our starters served at 6pm, that’s when we were planning to leave. When we asked for take away they said ‘no it’s buffet only..’ they could’ve actually save more food for themselves by sending us with the take away! I don’t get the prison style approach!!?Our friends who had to leave at 7pm and didn’t get their mains on time were charged a full amount! Which was so unfair. I think they should make it clear, that they may run late for up to 3 hours and that only have one waiter for whole of a restaurant!Definitely, won’t be going there again! Which is a a shame as I live locally and could’ve been a regular customer there!

We live in the Abbey and fancied popping out on Thursday after work. We went to Phoenix a couple of years ago and it was lovely so thought we would pop back. SO pleased we did. We went with the buffet option which was fantastic value. Food was really tasty and hot with great service. Highly recommened and can't wait to go back!!

I tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time. They have a buffet from Tuesday - Thursday I think and also on a Sunday. The food as well as the service was really good. I got the buffet service and the amount of food for the price paid was great! I will definitely be going back here
