This was my first visit to The Bath House despite living fairly locally to Walton. Having read the reviews and listening to word of mouth I decided to give it a go.In a nutshell the Sunday roast the three of us had was simply sublime. The roast potatoes were crispy and fluffy. Portion sizes generous. Meat cooked to perfection. Beef was tender as was the pork and the cracking was done beautifully. The interior of this establishment is reminiscent of a man’s working pub but it’s relatively easy to oversee this when observing everybody having such a nice time. The staff were attentive and welcoming and as it was Mother’s Day I was offered a free glass of Prosecco which was an added bonus.I would definitely return as in my opinion. The Sunday roast is far superior than other establishments locally including the fine dining experiences in nearby local towns.Thankyou and well done to The Bath House x

First visit, this place has massive potential. Landlady bubbly, kind and a friendly face...we will go back and try the food at some point which looks amazing, the pub deserves to be more busier, get yourselves down there....

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. The Sunday roast, especially the pork was delicious. The chef even took the time to leave the kitchen and ask us how our meal was. The waitresses were also attentive and the meal was very reasonably priced. Don’t be put off by the decor. It’s a very welcoming pub. We will definitely be back for another meal soon.

Best Sunday roast, service and relaxed atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend more.

Oh my days!!! I do have to admit from the outside it doesn't look so inviting, but once inside a totally different experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, totally 10/10 for hospitality. We had Sunday lunch, and I have to admit I am quite fussy and picky when it comes to a roast, bit this blew my mind, absolutely couldn't fault it, the taste, the portion size, the quality of the ingredients were all perfect, the creamed leeks were out of this world. The price was so reasonable. I would be back next Sunday if it wasn't a 6 hour round trip!!!

My family and I ate a fantastic Sunday Roast at The bath House last Sunday. We were recommended to go there by a friend. The Meals were delicious and we were thoroughly impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff we met. We look forward to eating there again in the future! Outstanding quality!

Visited here in May with my daughter and two grandchildren. Visited again in October with my wife. The fish and chips were highly recommended. The service was prompt and friendly. Drinks arrived very quickly and food followed shortly. Could not fault anything. Would recommend that if you are in the area give this pub a go.

The food and service here was excellent, seems like a locals pub but very welcoming to tourists. There was a few of us and a dog but they had a table set up for us and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The deal of 2 steaks or fish and chips and a bottle of wine was a bargain!Would definitely go back!

Excellent Steak Night last night. 2 really tasty tender steaks all the trimmings and bottle of wine £34.99. Great Value for money.

Spent a week in Walton and enjoyed the stay so decided to try the local pubs (Saturday night). Started off at the victory to be told the pub was closed to the public for a private function. Onwards to the queen's head, here we made it to the bar to be told last orders had been called (9.45) so we decided to visit the pub we had been in earlier in the day, the bath house. Completely different on an evening to afternoon. Had a job finding a table but managed one in the pool room. During our short stay we had to put up with the 18/30 crowd swearing at top of their voice, being bumped into constantly and to crown it all, drug deals openly taking place in the pool room. We left soon after as wives didn't feel easy, especially after googling the pub to find out they'd also been an acid attack.
