Just had coffee in Southend Tesco very high prices very slow cleaning up tables and I don’t like giving out my name to pick up a coffee won’t be calling in again

Stood by the counter for 5 minutes, and basically ignored! Counter tops were covered in dirty cups n saucers everywhere! Decided to just walk out n look elsewhere! First time visiting and last time too!

The place was averagely busy with two people working. It took an age to receive my coffee because the barista was chatting to anyone and everyone. My drink arrived in a paper cup and when I enquired why I couldn’t have one of the 310 china cups on display I was advised that a staff shortage meant that they wouldn’t give out proper cups. This was my second visit this month. The last time I went I was told I couldn’t have the poached egg on toast because they had run out of eggs - in a supermarket !. I won’t be going back…,

Nice team that works here so please give the place a makeover to reflect their efforts.The place is looking tired. Very badly stained upholstery and dirty paintwork. Some of it resembles a crime scene. More CSI than coffee shop.

A civilised start to a shop. Located inside Tesco Extra with ample park up space. Coffee & a scone costs around £6.
Talk about under staffed..poor girl working was 100 miles an hr..all alone..Doing everything..20 min wait..Food looks yummy tho..1st time....not sure I will be back..Get staff

Only a few customers present but every table in the place was full of dirty crockery whilst the lazy staff were just chatting with each other. We had to clear a table ourselves to drink our coffee. One assistant served food at the table of another customer and just placed the plate of food amongst the dirty cups etc without removing anything. The place was disgusting, not going there again!!

Dirty tables, dirty cup......told it was stained, hey ho! Rinsed under tap.....clean of sorts..Not acceptable. We go most weeks....utterly disgusted...coffee machine broken so lack of customers.....no excuse for dirty workstations and tables.
