The lady who served us today was an absolute delight, attentive and charming. Beautiful atmosphere and decor throughout. Beautiful little spot will be coming here again with the wife for a date night.

The Cork Dork

The atmosphere is like nothing I've ever experienced, its very laid back but the quality of the service is 10/10. couldnt recommend this place enough!!

SoPa Thai Westcliff

SoPa and Chef Owen were both fantastic—warm, patient, and incredibly generous with their time. The whole experience felt very personal and hands-on, not rushed or “production line” like some classes can be.
Easily the best cooking course we’ve done. If you’re local, this is an absolute gem to have on your doorstep. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Great service, food was nice and well presented.
Clean and tidy. Would definately use this place again.

Wilsons coffee

Anke's Tea and Coffee Lounge
481 London Rd, Westcliff-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-SeaThis is a cosy, friendly spot for a meet up with friends. We come here regularly for coffee. We sometimes have cake or toast and all of these things are delicious. I don't know anything about their wider menu.
One thing: remember to bring cash as there's a charge for card payments.

71A Hamlet Ct Rd, Westcliff-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-SeaVery relaxed Café with a huge variety on their menu. There are some traditional Portuguese food alongside some of the British favourites.
The coffee is pretty good, the staff is friendly and there is outdoor seating available.
Personally, you should try the codfish cakes (Bolinhos de Bacalhau) as they tasted hot and fresh and would definitely come back for more of them.

I was very sceptical, remembering our last time. We were seated inside as it was full outdoor. Maybe it was even better, as it was really hot that day. The Indian Chefs
109 Hamlet Ct Rd, Westcliff-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-SeaAfter my Nan’s funeral today, Indian Chefs went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Without being asked, they brought over trays of beautiful food for our family for lunch, which meant so much during a difficult day.
My Nan and Grandad had been coming here regularly and clearly built a genuine connection with them. This gesture was incredibly kind, thoughtful and will never be forgotten.
Thank you so much for your generosity, not just amazing food, but truly amazing people behind it.

And I've eaten in some amazing Michelin star restaurants. Could not believe this is pub grub. My wife had the chicken in gravy. Which was superb To top it off we had a 20% discount as a pre theatre discount... Message to the owners.... Do not let this chef go he is an asset to this pub and will make us go back.

Just had a meal with my wife and granddaughter and the service and quality of the food was brilliant. My 4 year old granddaughter had sausage, bacon and chips and the portion size was very generous. The bacon was amazing!! The cheese omelette was absolutely to die for. A pre theatre lunch meal prior to the children’s show Snow Queen and we could not have found anything better. Thank you Lunch Box, we’ll be back.

The food was absolutely unreal and the staff were super friendly and helpful. My daughters loved it as much as we did! So I went back with my boyfriend and children and the food was spot on again, lots of choices for drinks too. So clean in there and spacious. It is honestly one of the best places myself and boyfriend have been for a roast and we are always eating out! Will be back plenty more times for food and definitely a night out there! Xx

Great Tides Restaurant & Bar
18-20 Westcliff Parade, Westcliff-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-SeaMy friends and I booked a pre theatre meal here not really knowing what to expect and we can honestly say this is our new place to eat. We all had fish and chips which was absolutely delicious as well as piping hot. Desserts were varied but we all were amazed by the large portion sizes, including the ice cream. Toby ,our server was an absolute credit to the restaurant ,with his attentive service, helpfulness and friendly personality. We asked if Sangria was available and although it wasn't on the drinks list 2 jug fulls appeared at our table as they kindly made it up for us and was actually the best we've ever tasted.
