“We visited this restaurant after a matinée at Cliffs Pavilion to have a meal from their fixed price two course menu, which seemed good value (£17.95 per head including a beer or soft drink). We received a very friendly greeting, and had a wonderful meal. The helpings were generous - we expected them to be scaled down because of the low price, but that was not the case. We both had an amazing pasta starter, and gorgeous lamb in rosemary and red wine main course, which came with plenty of lovely lean and tender lamb. Would highly recommend, and will return when we next go to Southend.
Parking: We parked at Hamlet Court car park, a minute's walk away. No charge after 6pm. Plenty of space.”

“Went here for a family dinner of around 10 people, service was excellent and regularly checking in on us, food was fresh and tasty, I had a Calzone, which was a good portion size and very good.
Kid-friendliness: We had children present and there were no issues from staff or others in the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Quite a few small steps throughout the building due to the very hilly location.”
“Absolutely stunning. I’ve eaten here many times. The food, the service, the environment. I can’t fault anything. The menu varies from a gorgeous filling £11 lasagne to a melt in your mouth £30 steak. they really give you the Italian experience. An absolute must try.”
