Absolutely vile ? i ordered break fast and it was pure slop, the hash browns were soggy from bean juice to the point where they was mush. I received the order with beans spilt everywhere all over the bag there was so much, the toast was also soggy, everything was freezing cold , all in all it was disgusting and one of the worst cafes I’ve ever had.

We had a really nice English breakfast here recently, and it was very tasty and nicely presented - the price was very good too. Highly recommended.

I'm organising an event in the local area and was looking at catering options nearby to our venue. I wanted to give our attendees an option to grab some breakfast not too far from our meeting point, and thought I'd get in touch with this cafe. I wanted to ask about whether they could do a deal for our people, like a hot drink and a breakfast roll for a fiver per person. When I called, I was repeatedly and very rudely hung up on without even an apology or explanation. Eventually someone said, "We're too busy to take your call."More fool me for trying to support a local business and give them free advertising / promotion. Admittedly, they must be a success if they are too busy to take a call and talk about this. But I certainly won't be recommending them, and that's even before trying their food.

Where to begin? It was extremly busy, (Saturday morning, to be expected) but our coffee took about 25 mins to come, the food took 45.I noticed other breakfasts were coming out with extremely burnt toast, so I asked the waitress if I could have mine less toasted. "If it comes out like that! AH AHA AH!" was her reply...10 mins after my food arrived, she gave me my barely toasted bread...The mushrooms and tomato were sopping wet, which made everything else soggy and coldThere were too many tables in there, people kept brushing up against us when leaving/enteringThe salt and sugar were both crusted over. It was a really off-putting.All in all, a really bad experience, one I wont be repeating

Used to be a fantastic breakfast, unfortunately the quality of food has seriously dropped. Such a shame

I have just had a great cheese and mushroom fluffy omelette with chips and garden peas. It was very succulent and tasty. I can highly recommend this cafe. Prices are cheap, and great value for money.

Gone downhill since the old owners left used to be great now not so much. Food is still okay just not as good as before. Disappointing

Foods good...when I was there I was behind the clown in a crown Ian Moore on a rare outing. What a a specimen in clinical need of a wash

Literally the worst breakfast I've had anywhere. Staff were absolutely clueless, and the two breakfasts we ordered were pretty much cold. Oh, don't order cappuccino unless you want instant coffee mixed with hot chocolate done in the microwave. First time I've ever left a cafe still hungry. I recommend popping down the road to the Glenwood.

Nice little cafe serving hot and cold drinks and meals ranging from scampi and chips to cooked breakfasts and also snacks. Well cooked and served and easygoing and good atmosphere with great managers - Lisa and Phil.

Really tasty breakfast at a reasonable price, I tried the builders breakfast.

My daughter and I popped in for breakfast today The cafe has been taken over by new management, and I will never go there again!! Our breakfast came out and mine had 3 long black hairs in it. I could have been sick! Don't bother eating there!

What a lovely friendly clean cafe! was passing by so just popped in for a bacon sandwich and cup of tea, new owners apparently, will definitely be coming back next time I'm passing.
