I went in my classic car on their theme night and had a great time! Will probably book to eat at the super carvery next time. Bit short on beer selection, but I was driving....

Good food, that sometimes arrives at the wrong table- by the way I received my refund but was too hungry, to be happy with the solution. I was promised a drink next time I'm in but too embarrassed to ask lol.\\nThey serve best deserts ever. It's a biker friendly place on Tuesday evenings

Nice pub, good friendly service but took a while to be served. Had the coffee and cake (just a quick stop off) good value and coffee good quality

Ordered x2 too good to go bag and instead of cancelling the order because they didn't have any food they let people go in to be turned away with nothing! A little bit unacceptable considering it wasn't busy so they could of cancelled. Instead of being apologetic they had attitude.. if you go to get one of these bags be aware as they take the money for something you don't receive. Had high hopes for the number of stars they had on the app, unfortunately its put us off ever going there again

Its been a long time since i was last here and things have changed, the food is lovely but you do have to wait along time. I do think a good bit of housekeeping is needed there are lot of cobwebs and paint plaster is starting to come away.

Called in on off chance with 2 people. Found us a table. Recommend the carvery. All cooked lovely with lots of choices

We have just started taking advantage of their new breakfast service. Food was of a good standard. All served clean, crisp, and hot. Friendly staff, very polite and helpful. Update.....a few weeks after leaving this glowing review they promptly stopped offering the early morning breakfast. We turned up as usual at 10am to find the doors firmly locked ?.

Lovely and spacious with a good menu with plenty of variety, or the carvery, my meal was very nice, the staff were also very nice, I will definitely return.

My partner and I normally eat here around 2 - 3 times a week. Service is normally good. However today it was horrendous! One member of staff obviously had the hump for some reason. No customer service what so ever. Plonked the coffees on the table, with such an attitude, walked off, no sugars no spoons. Long face as she walked off, then went to service behind the bar. Had to get up, go ask for the sugars, no apology just a bad attitude.Table next to us, spoke us about the service and walked out asking for a refund. Still waiting ages for our deserts, gave up waiting asked for a refund. Asked the same lady who served us, again no apologies, she got a young member of staff to do it for her, while she pulled a face.It only takes one member of staff to put people off coming back.

They were short staffed on our visit so had to wait a long time for our meal. That's ok, considering the present circumstances, but I feel that we should have been informed of the wait on arrival. Food, when it arrived, was nice though!

Was so pleased when this place got a reprieve from closing down. This is no longer the case, trying to run a huge pub with 2 staff, is just clueless. Carpark virtually empty, wait inside for nearly 10 minutes looking around at a 3/4 empty pub. Only to be told when someone eventually comes to attend to us, that they are only seating people who have booked. WOW - what an attitude - won't be going back - appalling waste of a second chance. Won't be surprised to see it close for good in 2022.

Greatly disappointed with the standard and service of food, took over an hour for our food to be served, arrived cold. Felt very sorry for the very young people employed by Greene King to handle very disgrutled clientele. THEY LOOKED FRIGHTENED AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO SAY!! WHEN WE COMPLAINED! SO WE LEFT NEVER TO RETURN. NICE PUB, NICE DECOR SHAME ABOUT MANAGEMENT.

Had the unfortunate experience of ordering a burger here last night.I ordered a bacon and cheese burger with chips, something which any eatery should be able to do.First thing I had to chase the food after 35 minutes, miraculously it appeared 2 minutes later. The chips are not chips, they’re fries, the same as McDonald’s and just as bad.The burger was dry, not that warm, tasteless and felt like it had been under a hot lamp for a good time. If I had to guess I’d say it was bought in frozen and reheated.I ate here as there was a car meet I was attending and the organiser had asked us to use the pub for food etc, I won’t make that mistake again and will be telling others not to bother. When I mentioned this to other people I was with they said the same and had been waiting even longer on previous occasions.Be warned, when an eatery can’t get a basic burger right then there is something fundamentally wrong.Avoid. The only reason this got 2 stars is the friendliness of the staff.
