Do not come here. No menu until at the till and even then majority of menu is unavailable and staff as the till don’t even know this. Guy at till is not good at his job had to repeat order several times and one meal we ordered wasn’t available and we wasn’t told they just bought something else out. Another meal we asked for and guy at till didn’t put it through so whilst everyone else’s was bought out i had to reorder mine and the girl was very rude about this. GET NEW STAFF!!

Very slow service considering we was the only people in the cafe waiting for food..... And no kids options. Wont be using this restaurant again

slowest service. waited 30 mins for a baguette.. salad was dry and got not even half a bag of crisps. also, there was no menu until we got to the till and even then couldn’t find the hot food so expected there wasnt any. sat down and low and behold, a table had hot food? we looked for the menu everywhere. such a confusing place. seems to be no organisation whatsoever.

DOG OWNERS BEWARE.While visiting Alton's Garden Centre with my 83 year old mother, we decided to have lunch at Digby's restaurant. As we had our dog we sat as far from the counter as possible but was asked to sit outside which we did. Whilst waiting for our food it started to rain as the outdoor seating had no cover we asked to move back inside which at first we was told we could but after moving back inside we was then told the manager had said we could only sit outside in the rain.

Ordered 2 X Ham Egg & Chips and Tea for 2 the food arrived in a reasonable time but as the tea was only lukewarm when it was served by now it was nearly cold. The Eggs were very nice and hot. The Ham was very nice and a good portion. Now we come to the Chips, lukewarm was being generous, the plate was hotter than the Chips. Even if it had been ok i think it was overpriced, compared with the price of the Breakfast that looked far better value. Such a shame it has gone downhill there, it used to be very good. I Hope somebody from there reads this and takes action to find out what is going wrong

Came here for a quick bite to eat, had to queue in a line, took a very long time to do so. Ordered a filter coffee, came cold. Also no orange juice, no slush but advertised on the menu. Food came, very average. Do not come here Full of old people

Just returned from breakfast at Digbys restaurant in Alton garden centre. Really enjoyed the well cooked breakfasts, we tried the normal and the veggie, vegetarian sausages very tasty, but what impressed us most was the team of friendly, polite and hard working youngsters, who went about their job quietly, efficiently and most of all pleasantly. They are all a credit to the business. Well done all of you, and keep it up!
