Food good, service ok. Walls need cleaning around the tables though, don't need to be seeing last week's gravy splattered up the wall right next to me.

Food was amazing, really high quality roast with amazing Yorkshire puddings. The veg was perfectly cooked and varied, hands down the best place I've ever been with a great selection. However, not so for my vegan friend. Nowhere near enough on the plate and not filling. They need to come up with a good nut roast. Also the burgers, I was expecting hand made made a smash burger, but they were not up to the same standard as the roast which is a shame. I think the menu tries to deliver too much and so some dishes are not the same standard as the rest of the fare, which is awkward. The puddings were amazing though, so good. We will come again, but elsewhere if our vegan friend is coming.

Despite being very busy the drinks and food were served in good time. My only criticism was the smell of drains/sewage when leaving/returning to the car park.

Delicious food, really good selection for all tastes and beautifully presented. The place was really busy, but the server was appropriately attentive and helpful about menu choices. There was just the right amount of food to make you full, but not uncomfortable. On arrival she noted I wear hijab and immediately poitely enquired whether I would be able to consume alcohol. When I confirmed 'no' , she explained the mark on the menu indicating that the item contained alcohol. Very professionally done with no embarrassment to either party.A lovely evening, I will definitely be returningDietary restrictions: The menu is marked with a star to indicate the dish contains alcohol. Excellent idea for those who don't touch the stuff.

Came for a drink , waited at door as signs directed , waited and waited for staff to come over to welcome us, but they seemed more concerned in chatting to each other at bar. Eventually someone did come ove and explain where bar area was for a drink. First impressions count and to feel ignored is not the way to go. Hopefully staff can learn to put customers first.

Sunday lunch. Very busy, nice atmosphere and the service was very friendly. But the food was very poor quality and uber expensive. They clearly have little idea in the kitchen. In response to these comments you invited me to speak to you about our experience and while I must thank you for that offer and hasten to add I was happy to speak to you, but the link you supplied does not to work. But I am quite sure you know that.John

What a lovely restaurant.

Food drinks and service was great once we sat down. We had a 15 minute wait for our table as we arrived early, there was no where for my mum to sit down in the bar area, this was a struggle for her at 83 years old, which was the only downside to a lovely afternoon and meal.

Absolutely fab! Decor is beautiful, food was incredible!!

Great food, but the time it took to make it to the table was disappointing. Strangely laid out tables, big crowds put in small room alongside people who were clearly there for a gentle gathering. A shame because it's otherwise a top place.
