Very very annoyed ordered from here been loyal to them for the last year buggered order up tonight by time the rest got here food was stone cold so told them didn't want it and want money back to that they were rude on the phone got told never to go back there again avoid and go else where save your time and moneyOn the other hand other times we have ordered there is an English man who answers the phone and he is very polite and gets the food spot on

Lovely food, don’t get an Indian takeaway that often but will repeat soon. We shared House Special Mixed Biryani, Onion Bhaji, peshwari naan, and vegetable palak. All hot all fresh. Killer bhaji not experienced one so good for a long time.

I tried Spice Venue for the first time and it was a huge disappointment.Everything about the food was economical, the portion sizes were smaller than ususl, the amount of chicken in my chicken tikka, for example, was minimal. The biggest laugh or crying shame, came with the shami kebabs which without exception are 'burger patty' size in every Indian restaurant I've ever been to, Spice Venue appears to want to rip its customers off by giving you a shami kebab the size of a golf ball, less than half the normal size (at the same price!).Spice Venue do not deserve my hard earned cash when every other Indian restaurant I've been to appears to try to at least give value for money even if it isn't always to your taste.I did phone the owner regarding my disappointment regarding my food and it was arrogantly dismissed without any concern, quite shameful.If you are in any doubt this review is not accurate, simply order some shami kebabs and laugh at the size of them as I did!

We have just had a takeaway from here tonight and my daughter found an 8 inch long black hair disgusting ?When my son in law phoned to complain they denied having anyone with hair that long gave an £15 refund on over £40 meal will not get a takeaway again from this place .

I tried Spice venue for the first time having lived in Witham all my life. What a huge disappointment. Size of portions were well below average the Shami kebabs being the smallest I'd ever seen, the normal buger patty size kebabs had be minaturised to the size of of golf ball, when I opened the container and saw them I burst out laughing. The chicken in my Chicken Tikka was also minimal. Indian food can vary and every ones tastes are different but blatent small portions are an insult to my hard earned cash. I was so incensed I phoned the owner who arrogantly dismissed everything I said, quite disgracdful. If you are in any doubt this review is not accurate, order some Shami Kebabs and you'll be laughing too...or crying!

So I ordered a mixed grill from them and it turned up 30 minutes late, I opened it up and there was next to nothing in it. I phoned the restaurant and was told..that's our portion sizes if you know a place who gives you more then go there instead. He was basically extremely rude..wont use them again and wouldn't advise anyone else to!

Food was really bad, probably the worst indian I've ever had (and I've had many) everything was either swimming in water or swimming in oil, the food was bland, no spice or seasoning at all. The sag paneer was awful, just watery spinach with a couple of squares of cheese thrown in. It was my first and last visit!!

We ordered a large delivery, the food was not very warm and took a long time. The meat dishes did not consist of lots of meat more sauce than anything. I would not have samosas again very small.
