Olio At The Chequers
32 The St, Wickham Bishops, WithamWe went to Olio today for a celebration dinner, the food and the service here was fabulous. We were a family of 5, we all had something different, I had seabass which was 'melt in the mouth ' deliciousness, my son and daughter had pasta dishes, again very enjoyable and my husband and mum had rissito, utterly delicious! Thank you so much for a delicious meal!

Thai Cottage Restaurant
149 Newland St, WithamThe food here is excellent, good size portions, well seasoned with very good heat and flavour to the Som Tam Salad & the Beef Massamann.And the Chicken Pad Thai was absolutely spot on with lots of flavour and tender freshly cooked chicken. They actually had Chang beer as well which I've struggled to find at my local Thai restaurants.The guy serving was really friendly and welcoming.I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.We are not locals, just passing through otherwise we would definitely get food from here again.Thank you ?

The White Horse
2 Church St, Chipping Hill, WithamAlthough the women's football was on we found a quiet spot outside in the beer gardens and no one made us feel we should be there even the locals spoke to us and I love the fact they had a corner part of the bar as I walked in so I didn't disturb anyone enjoying the game. Next time we go we may try the food.

The Woolpack Inn
7 Church St, WithamOnly discovered this lovely pub because it appeared in the Flitch Line Ale Trail booklet. You need to head out of town along some quaint old streets and past the church to find this pub. Make sure to include it if you are following the trail, it's the best in Witham for real ale and character.Inside it's arranged as two traditional rooms with the bar in the middle, pool table etc. A really nice pub with a great local astrosphere.The beer is excellent and there were some decent ales on tap to choose from. We had a friendly welcome from the landlord and a chat about other CAMERA pubs in Witham. Great place.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space indoors.

1 The St, White Notley, WithamGreat local pub. They’ve done a good job inside with the decor, feels like a nice place to spend a rainy afternoon. The food we ate was mostly great - steak good, fish good, ham a little underwhelming. Few small niggles, but nothing that would put us off coming back. Recommended.

Unit 2 & 3 The Grove Centre, WithamI think Costa Witham makes a truly fantastic dry cappuccino! I looked over at the counter and mentioned to my husband which lady had made my lovely coffee and just as I was just spooning out the last drops the member of staff came over and said was your coffee ok? How lovely that someone would ask, I explained I was scooping out the last drops as it was sooo delicious :) I think the staff should be given a treat for good service!

70 Newland Street, WithamWe visited to celebrate my son's birthday. I had Tres Gusti pizza and shared a large Garlic and cheese bread with my family. The service was good and staff friendly. It was busy in the restaurant and so the background noise was a little too much for me. This restaurant has low ceilings which I think contributes to the sound levels.

Little India
8 Laburnum Way, WithamFirst time ordering from this Indian Restaurant. It was delivered on time, the food was superb. They also put in 4 large poppadoms and a dip for free. Don't know whether this was because we were first time people, but the poppadoms were lovely too. The Courier for Just Eat was such a nice man, polite and friendly. Will definitely have this takeaway restaurant as our first choice and when friends come to eat too.

7 Newland St, WithamAs an Aussie and Kiwi who were passing through on our way to London, we were keen to find a pub for lunch so we could catch the Matildas vs Lionesses semifinal WWC. We ended up here and there was a big TV. We had walked in just after Sam Kerr scored her magnificent equaliser. Our accents were obvious and there was a friendly rivalry but everyone was a good sport. Beer and good egg omelettes softened the blow of England winning the game. All the best for the final!

A12 Southbound, End, Withamthe staff are always friendly and polite and it's usually not too busy so you get served quick. the restaurant is always clean and tidy and there is ample seating inside and a couple of tables outside too for days when the weather is nice. there's a good sized carpark that's shared with the gregg's next door so you don't have to walk and pricing is on par with other starbucks restaurants of the same type.overall a very pleasant experience.the only thing of note when visiting this restaurant is that the slip road back onto the a12 is very short so you can't really get any speed up to join with traffic. this is mostly only an issue during rush hour as this section of the a12 can get very busy but it's something to keep in mind.

1 Guithavon St, WithamHad a delightful takeaway from Turquoise last night. We had lamb and chicken shish kebabs. The meat was well cooked and beautifully marinated. The flat bread was lovely and made a nice change to pitta, the chips were tasty and the salad was fresh and you can choose exactly what you want. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced.5 stars will definitely order again

Domino's Pizza - Witham
3 Highfields Road, WithamOrdered on my phone from my house in Braintree as we went to Witham Town fc, did the collection from the car and it was really good. We parked up and waited 1 or 2 mins to our pizzas being brought out to us and it was the best dominos I’ve ever had. Seriously reccomend the tandoori chicken topping. I used the £5.99 collection deal and it certainly did not disappoint
