1 The St, White Notley, WithamSo so good. New to the area and saw this driving past so booked a table. Walked in and Debbie was brilliant from the get go, so friendly, informative and just genuinely lovely. Food was excellent all round, we had the pork belly, goats cheese bites, chicken pie and beef brisket. Left very happy and really pleased we went! We’ll be back - thank you so much.

Thai Cottage Restaurant
149 Newland St, WithamFirst visit to Thai Cottage on a date night for 2 having recently moved to the area.
We shared satay starter and a shredded duck course. The food was well presented and tasty.
For main we had Massaman curry and Pad Thai.
The service was efficient and friendly, it’s just a shame it never seems busy. We will be returning again soon. Thank you.
£30 each inc alcoholic beverage each seems very reasonable.

The Woolpack Inn
7 Church St, WithamThe Woolpack Inn is a proper traditional two roomed pub. There is a wide range of beers including three hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones I tried were in excellent condition. It is a cosy friendly pub the staff are very welcoming. It's not a food pub, just pub to meet up and have a great beer. A visit is highly recommended.

2 Church St, Chipping Hill, WithamFirst time here today came down from Suffolk and met friends who travelled up to venue and this was halfway
Reviews seemed pretty good and I believe relatively new owner
Pulling up outside in car park I was a bit wary as as said arranged to meet friends
Once inside greeted very warmly by staff and settled at table very quickly
Staff very friendly and good
But when the Sunday roast came up and got to say one of the best I’ve had
Hot and nicely served up and plenty of it
Great value for money as well as decent beer
Many thanks to all staff good job done
Would come again when in area
Definitely recommend this place?

Unit 2 & 3 The Grove Centre, WithamLily just made me a wonderful maple hazel latte, and had just such a general kind, happy demeanour. You can often tell when people don’t like to be there early, but lily just made my Thursday morning better with a wonderful attitude. Thankyou?

Met friends for lunch today to have a catch up. Two of us had the Jamacian stew with sourdough bread which was absolutely delicious!

Popped in for a 60's + meal this afternoon. Very tasty liver & bacon, mash, onion gravy with peas, also apple crumble/custard. All very tasty, great value. Staff were friendly as they always are.

8 Laburnum Way, WithamBest Indian in witham. Couldn't ask for better from the food that looked and tasted fantastic, to the best delivery driver. Not sure which driver we got but he went the extra mile to put down a step so you can just help yourself out of the box, very polite and friendly.

7 Newland St, WithamStopped off to The Red Lion on our journey home from Norfolk- googled pubs serving food and allowing dogs and this pub came up. We phone ahead to make sure they could accommodate us. Had a pleasant surprise after reading some of the negative reviews. We enjoyed tasty roast dinners( there were 8 of us ) and friendly staff -
Bar staff and landlord very accommodating to us.

52-54 Newland Street, WithamThis is a very busy handy location, Gregg's. It's always super busy, so expect a short wait. The staff are always polite and friendly and a credit to the brand. Food is always cooked perfectly and very well presented.
There's a seating area with ample seating. Wheelchair accessible doors and areas are great and perfect for young mums and prams, too.

A12 Southbound, End, Withamthe staff are always friendly and polite and it's usually not too busy so you get served quick. the restaurant is always clean and tidy and there is ample seating inside and a couple of tables outside too for days when the weather is nice. there's a good sized carpark that's shared with the gregg's next door so you don't have to walk and pricing is on par with other starbucks restaurants of the same type.overall a very pleasant experience.the only thing of note when visiting this restaurant is that the slip road back onto the a12 is very short so you can't really get any speed up to join with traffic. this is mostly only an issue during rush hour as this section of the a12 can get very busy but it's something to keep in mind.

1 Guithavon St, WithamI’ve now removed the 5-star review I originally left 3 years ago, which is disappointing in itself as I used to genuinely enjoy ordering from here.
Unfortunately, my recent takeaway experience was very poor. I also left feedback through the app, but noticed that my review has since been removed, which has added to my disappointment.
The chips were dry, the chicken shish portion was small and lacking flavour, and the salad appeared old and discoloured. It honestly felt nothing like the quality your social media and advertising currently promote.
I understand that every business can have an off day, but consistency and quality matter, especially for returning customers who have supported you over the years. At the moment, the food feels as though the passion and care that once made it stand out is no longer there.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that improvements can be made.
