Popped in here for breakfast this morning. Had a sausage and egg bap and it was delicious! Mum had the bacon and egg bap and said it was one of the best she'd had! Also ordered a slice of the apple, Hazelnut caramel which was out of this world. Can't wait to go back. Great to have such a good cafe as a local.

Great place for a coffee and cake. The apple pie to die for!

The name of the cafe sums up the attitude of the blonde woman who works there. A totalitarian atmosphere where you are accosted at the first step into the cafe.a woman with an attitude for the kitchen, my poor family were subjected to what I assumed was a badly managed waitress or worse yet an inexperienced waitress turned manager. The event in question,We entered the site with smiles on our faces and the hope for a good coffee. But as you can imagine those smiles turned into confusion and anger as the blonde woman micromanaged and bullied us into our seating. To our surprise! You cannot pick your own seats in a near empty cafe.Who would have thought that alongside the pastries and cakes there would also be a sour tart in the mix.In all seriousness, looking around the cafe to see all the other accosted guests held hostage by the apparent high prices and un-informed seating plan really does put a sour taste in your mouth.Hopefully with all this cafe jenga this lady will be able to afford a couple of courses on cafe etiquette. Here is some re advice in the meantime If there is a seating plan have a sign for those to wait and be seated.Looking forward to the reply

The customer service experience was extremely poor. Hopefully, the blonde lady, can undergo training not only in serving customers but also in basic kindness.

What an absolute delight of a find! The food here is super fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff are really friendly and the decor is nice and relaxing. The super wide range of homemade food is unreal. If I could eat here every day for every meal, I'd be very happy indeed! We ate I'm for breakfast a couple of times and also ordered takeaway for lunch. Cost-wise, we spent on average about £10 to £16 each. This included drinks and cake on top of a full breakfast. The home made cakes are insanely amazing. I am not a cake person at all, but I ended up buying 5 cakes from here. We had the Bakewell, rhubarb crumble and brownie. For breakfast we had a full English (they allowed us to swap black pudding for bacon), a home made bap with bacon, sausage and egg. The sausage patties also appear to be home made. They are delightful. If they sold them to make at home, I'd have bought some! My daughter had the avocado, feta and sundried tomatoes on feta. She said it is by far the best she has had. My youngest son had toast on day one and waffle in day two.We loved it so much that we had it all again on day two.My only feedback to the staff would be to improve your marketing from the outside. It's a competitive area and the dark colours did not stand out. We only found you by accident. Some brighter colours or (if possible) a hanging sign over the door arch. Even when we came back the next day, we struggled to find exactly where you were.

The staff made us feel very unwelcome. We initially sat at an empty table, only to be shouted at across the cafe that the table was reserved. He seemed really angry, but there was no indication that it was reserved, so I’m not sure how we could have known. He then instructed us to go into the back. Our tea took quite a long time to arrive. Not long after, some new guests arrived and the same staff member ordered us to move tables (for a second time). Before we even had a chance to respond he started roughly moving all of our stuff, spilling our tea in the process. I have no idea what we’d done to offend him so much, but it made us feel very unwelcome. As if we’d really inconvenienced him for having the audacity to pop in for some cake and a cup of tea.

The best breakfast by far in Bourton on the Water, save space for a slice of Ella’s rhubarb crumble cake for the win!

This cafe was not that busy when we arrived but it certainly got busy. It is a nice modern, welcoming cafe. You make your choices and order at the desk. We had been on a walk and we had the soup of the day which was tomato, it was really good. We had coffee and cake afterwards. This cafe is a bit away from the centre but for us it was a great choice. Highly recommended.

Went for the first time today. I had the ham and cheese roll and I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a sandwich that good. Thank you very much. The cakes looked wonderful and next time I’ll make sure I have enough room for a cake and sandwich. The only improvement would be ensuring the door remains closed on a cold day.Highly recommended

A frequent favourite stop in Bourton. The freshly baked bread rolls are amazing. Lovely space in the back to allow for dogs.

The best Soup I’ve ever had in Bourton on the water. Carrot and dill. You could tell it was freshly made. Delicious. Such friendly staff and welcoming inside.
