The food is delicious and just the right amount. In the mid-range, cost wise. The 2 reasons for the 3⭐ are the toilets have obviously been flooded at some point because there was a musty smell and they were sub-standard. And the other reason is even though 2 of our servers were very attentive and polite, the guy that gave us the bill came across arrogant and annoyed that we paid separately and that we refused to pay the service charge (£16) ? But despite that, I will go back again.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian and vegan dishes were clearly marked.

Food here is amazing and the place is absolutely stunning. Very inclusive for those with allergens. Our server Freya was so kind and helpful with letting us understand the menu options as well as her fast service. Would so go back again, and of course a huge thank you for Freya for making our experience so excellent!

Quiet lunchtime, a fairly long wait for food in a relatively quiet restaurant. Once food arrived it was lovely and very well presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. What really lets this restaurant down is the toilets. They are located in the basement and smell really damp and look very dated and in need of a spruce up.

Scarlett looked after us very well. Grate atmosphere food (pizza, pasta, cheese cake) and drinks. However risotto was a bit bland and undercooked/ not creamy hence a taken off star.

Dreadful service. Untrained youngsters as waiters/ waitresses chattering around providing no service at all. All other restaurants were booked out on 23 Dec whilst Ask remained empty - probably for this reason. Food remains good but it took 2 hours for us to get our starters and mains. Investing in experienced staff who ensure service is being delivered would make a big difference.

Lovely food and service for our works do. Helpful and accommodating with last minute menu changes and very attentive and polite service - Gez in particular was very helpful despite being short staffed!

Brilliant brilliant brilliant! I have never been to a more brilliant restaurant, the service was brilliant, the food was brilliant and my favourite was the crayfish it tasted brilliant. Had to leave a brilliant review! Defo recommend this brilliant restaurant!

Awful. Me and my friends came here and were massively disappointed, the wait times for food were unbelievably long which would’ve been ok if it was busy however it wasn’t, we waited nearly 30 minutes for starters which was two garlic breads so shouldn’t of took that long. Had to ask 4 times for water after struggling to get our waiters attention and him forgetting each time we asked ( it seemed like the staff were avoiding all the customers as it was the same with all of the staff) when our mains came they seemed to forget one of our meals as we had to wait 10 minutes for the last meal to come which resulted in our food coming cold as we waited for our friends food to come to eat, we weren’t told that we would be waiting for the remaining food they just gave us ours and walked away. When they came to clear our plates they took away food people were still eating yet didn’t clear any of our glasses the whole time we were there and seemed to again forget about us as they left the empty plates on the table. Had to hunt down someone to get the bill and again were left so ended up paying online which didn’t even give us the option to leave no tip as we were disappointed so still had to tip for service we were unhappy with. Over all staff were lazy and seemed to only be able to do half a job which is disappointing considering how expensive our bill was. Couldn’t recommend less.

very slow service, order incomplete and got order wrong on another table. restutaunt didn’t seem that busy so not sure why the service was so slow.

All the staff are so lovely! Food was made beautifully and with the changes I had asked for! It was quick and the service was great! Would recommend!

A little disappointed with the overall experience. Arrived at 6:45pm to a great welcome which made us feel like we would have a great visit ; we left at 9:20pm. Service was very slow. Long waits from receiving starters and also mains. Had to get up and ask where mains were, as soon as mains were delivered an instant gesture of discount was offered but not requested. Appreciated however wasn’t after a freebie; no check back, no offer of second or third drinks.. or coffee with dessert. Serval times our table was walked past without being acknowledged. Plates were moved to edge of table for servers to see. No real attentiveness from a server after we were seated. Restaurant wasn’t very busy. Team stood around at the bar and could be seen having personal conversations. Food was nice however pasta dish was cold due to being sat waiting to leave the kitchen. A number of opportunities were missed to upsell.

The restaurant was quite cold inside. We were let down by some of our choices being unavailable. The tomato sauce which was with the arranchini was cold as were all the plates holding hot food (a pet hate!!). The sea bass was delicious and a good sized portion but the sticky coffee toffee pudding was burnt and inedible. The service was good and staff warm and friendly. Think we just hit a bad night.
