We were never without a drink at bottomless brunch. Bruno made sure the next drink was on the table by the time we finished the last. Such a great time and lovely food.

We were celebrating our respective birthdays and chose the 7 course taster menu - this was superb and we couldn't decide which course was our favourite as they were all delicious. The staff made us feel very welcome and ensured we enjoyed our meal. Being given the little gift box with a birthday cake inside as we settled our bill was very thoughtful and delicious. Excellent wine list and drinks menu.

The Beefy Boys

Go hungry but careful not to over order. Portions pack a punch. Super tasty. Super greasy. Everything naughty you wanted will be delivered. Ninja wings were banging, nice accompaniment to the dirty boy classic. Don’t bother with the lager, stick to the Deya. You’re not going out after this. Plan for the sofa. Lovely stuff.

Memsahib's Lounge

Outstanding! Had the Experience menu with drinks flight. The most enjoyable dining experience I’ve had in many years. Fantastic and very attentive service with a lovely atmosphere to match. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.

Chelsea Brasserie

The food was very good with beautiful flavours.The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. My only slight criticism was that the meal was over quickly because the waiters were so attentive.Overall a lovely restaurant.

MUSE Brasserie

We enjoyed a nice dinner here on Saturday. It's a really nicely furnished interior with care taken on style and attractive menus. A small but very good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. We had the goats cheese and crispy pork belly starters. The belly wasn't crispy but the chef (who visited most tables) explained the skin is removed and a crispy crumb is added. It was tasty enough but I was hoping for proper crackling. The goats cheese was very strong and the chutney and pickled items weren't tart enough to cut through it.Main courses we had coq au vin and venison. The male waiter, when we ordered, was very unsure as to what veg/carb came with main courses so we ended up with too many side dishes of vegetable. The venison was quite nice if quite a small portion, but served with a delicious berry jus and some truffle mash which was well seasoned. The star on the plate was the bolognaise bon bon, delicious and I could have eaten a bowl full. The coq au vin came with a small side slice of dauphinoise which I'm told was a bit dense and dry.We didn't have room for desserts as we hadn't appreciated bread and amuse bouches were coming from the kitchen. Nice warm rolls served with unsalted butter and a shot of leek and potato soup and a tomato arancini.Perhaps my fault but the beaujolais which I was expecting to be light, mellow and fruity was sharp and unpleasant. We left it to breathe almost to the very end and our dinner guest struggled through one glass, I left mine and we left some in the bottle. Unheard of! Guess we were unlucky but for £32 was hoping for better.The general serving staff were friendly and warm if a little inexperienced at serving. Instead of delivering around each side of the table, dishes were passed over in front of us. But a minor point. It was a really nice atmosphere and mainly small groups of diners and couples enjoying a chilled evening. I didn't notice any music which might have been nice. I would return.

The Mahal

We were lucky enough to celebrate a memorable birthday meal here with the 7 course tasting menu. The menu combined delicate spice and wonderful flavours which paired with the wine selections from Venkatesh made the meal one of the best in Cheltenham. Would highly recommend arriving a little early to enjoy one of the Mahal’s house cocktails!

The Miller, Cheltenham

As a group of four we have been for a few bottomless brunches, and thought we would give Miller Bar a try. We were not disappointed. Food was lovely, good portions, drinks were great. Ben was our server and was very welcoming and attentive. Never had to wait for a drink. Definitely recommend. Only down side was it was a bit chilly, especially the toilets.

Domaine 16

This feels like stepping into someone's living room: if that living room was stocked full of incredible cheeses. We came in for a birthday celebration as a group of 4, with barely another 8 people filling the restaurant. The classic fondue was fantastic, with a wealth of bread and potatoes to accompany with the cheese and meats spread. Of further note were the camembert wedges and the Nduja scotch egg; both incredibly good. In short a lovely, informal restaurant with a great atmosphere and similarly good food and a surprisingly good espresso martini. We'll certainly be back!

Lumiere

Lovely little cosy restaurant, easy to miss if you are going in the evening as the outside sign is not too obvious. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a lovely and smiley girl who showed us to our table and took our coats.We went for the 8 course menu which was £135/pers and it included a complementary canapé and water (still or sparkling). The dishes were very well balanced both in terms of texture and taste, some with subtle flavours that would perfectly complement each other, while others were much bolder, giving you an explosion of taste with every bite.I particularly enjoyed the reinterpretation of coronation chicken in a suprisingly mini format with a bold flavour profile and the smoked eel on a bed of rolled potatoes with a nice mustard and dill sauce and crispy apple batons. The tequila palate cleanser was a nice suprise mid-meal and the rhubarb dessert was the perfect balance of sweet and sour, crunchy and soft.Overall a great culinary experience from a 1 Michelin star restaurant. I will definitely be back!

Very small family run restaurant in the heart of Cheltenham. Incredibly friendly staff, and the food was first class. Good wine list too! I would happily recommend when in Cheltenham.

It was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. We've walked past Revival Cafe Bar & Grill many times, yet we've never ventured inside until this weekend.We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon in March. There was a friendly greeting at the door, and we were shown to a table for four on the first floor. The restaurant was nicely decorated, it was very clean and there were no tables with dead cups, trays or plates. The staff were friendly and the service was good.The menu is quite extensive, with breakfast served all day. Prices are very reasonable and the servings are pretty generous.Our drinks arrived first shortly, followed by our meals. All hot & as ordered. The food was good. I had the sausage baguette £4.50 whilst my wife had beans in toast and my daughter a bacon baguette. The food was simple and inexpensive.Payment was straightforward, and as we left, we were thanked for our visit.Good straightforward reasonably priced simple food, not fancy. Just had lunch with friends and it was first class throughout! Staff, food choice and atmosphere were terrific. Portions were generous, and we all left with the feeling that we would return - the set price 2 course lunch menu with wine at £22 is fantastic value for the quality offered - well done Victoria's.

Lovely British dishes! Like the seasonal touches like their partridge/quail on polenta and the turkey breast with red cabbage and a side of Brussels sprouts with chestnuts. Nice creamy persimmon panna cotta. Excellent choice of apperatives.

Genuinely best service I have ever had. They are so tentative and make a eating there a pleasure. Foods great but cant recommend enough for a date night or family meal. You can't get better in Cheltenham.

My first visit and the quality exceeded my expectations, which were high! Superb confit duck leg for main course and an unforgettable pistachio soufflé for dessert. A little more expensive than most restaurants but undoubtedly worth it; I'd much rather dine here once than any mid-priced restaurant twice. Highly recommended.

KIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar

Absolutely fantastic food. The service was the best Japenese I've ever had. Celebrated my partners 40th birthday and he was surprised with a desert with a sparkler, even had a memorabilia picture taken. The decor is lovely and staff fabulous and super helpful with recommendations. Will be returning, thankyou for making it a special evening.

Great Food, our 1st visit, and not disappointed. Right next to Weatherspoon's so a cheap pre drink too. Some of the drinks are expensive but £28 for a top quality Cremant bubbly was a bargain. Went here with a couple of friends and we all agreed that the food was great! Really big portions at such a good price, and right in the town centre.We'll definitely be coming back!Vegetarian options: Would highly recommend the satay tofu, cauliflower, and the veggie spring rolls for vegetarian starter dishes

We stopped off here on our motorhome last minute and was firstly chuffed to find a free motorhome space, but then we experienced the food, which was really superb, great lovely atmosphere in the old dining hall, lovely smiley polite staff. Highly recommend this gem of a find ?? you may have to book ahead judging how busy it got!Parking: Motorhome spots x 4.

Great Sunday roast - nice bar area. We had the roast pork and chicken. They are dog friendly in the bar. It was a little more pricey in comparison to some other places but that's perfect for somewhere a bit more special for occasions.

Harry Cook Freehouse

Have been here a couple of times now when visiting friends. The food was delicious, chicken schnitzel the best I’ve had outside of Germany. Dirty fries amazing, beef brisket melting in mouth. Also tried buffalo cauliflower… delicious.Staff are really welcoming & helpful. Staff member Leo very knowledgeable on drinks & made my dining experience with family and friends really relaxing and enjoyable.Vegetarian options: Menu has plenty to choose from, & staff are knowledgeable for dietary requirements.

Great place, come here for a cider tasting on the weekend if you like. We come here often to enjoy what the place has to offer.There are lots of amazing food stalls including Bombay food and pizza.There’s also a boutique little shop inside selling nice cheeses, wines, ciders and meat.

Always use the drive-through as it's more convenient, foods normaly good but as with any Mc Donald's now and then you get a wrong order or no dip or missing an item. Normaly sorted with no problems but it's just inconvenient as you then have to go in side. All round good food, think cheese burgers should go back to 99p tho.Parking: Car park isn't very well designed, bit tight for how busy the store can be and the waiting bays for the drive-threw can block the Exit if a van is parked in the 1st bay

The Meadow Café

We love this place: incredibly tasty bagels, fantastic cake, proper coffee - and more! Lovely staff, too, friendly, good-humoured and very efficient. It's at the edge of Cox's Meadow, an attractive and interesting piece of parkland for walking off the calories, and also a stone's throw from Cheltenham General, so very morale-boosting after a therapy session! Very pleasant outdoor seating is available back and front, so you can usually catch some sun!Parking: A few parking spots at the front, but loads more at the Lido, just a short walk away. It's worth it!

33 The Rum Bar

I love the Rum bar! The setting and decor is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and accommodating whether you want recommendations or cocktails! It’s a hidden gem!We decided to have a 50th birthday celebration there. It was perfect, the music, drinks and venue.We have also been for live music or a quiet drink and a game of cards.Thank you for always looking after us x

The staff & place is lovely, it’s a little expensive for pub grub but I think that’s everywhere now - Claire was really attentive and had a chat with us, it’s always good to feel welcomed & like people enjoy their job which is what we got.

Arranged to have a baby shower here, and Kelly & Helen we’re absolutely fantastic from the word “go!” Despite changing my mind constantly on many things, they continued to accomodate and at no point ever made me feel I was an inconvenience! They provided a varied buffet for my guests and overall gave me a 5 star service. Would definitely recommend here for a private function!!

Off The Square - Stow On The Wold

A great concept that provides a relax from the quaint shops. Chris and James know their beers (tried at least 4 on tap) and there is something for everyone. We had a lovely Cornish Pasty served with Coleslaw and Crisps, as well as leaving with a bottle of Black Lion Vodka. People in and out, so nice place to stop for a chat in the heart of Stow.

Boston Tea Party Cheltenham

I love the sweet corn hash here on some days. However it's not consistent the standard of cooking so other days it's just ok but oilier coriander not so fresh and halloumi overcooked. Servers are always friendly and helpful. Coffee is always good.

Indian Brasserie

Would a t-rex like a curry? I reckon so. Apart from trying to put onions onto his poppadoms with his tiny arms. Most curry spots are quite traditional in a 20,000BC x Nan's-front-room kind of way, but t-rex wouldn't like this. Too modern by half.The food is top drawer though. Shaslick, Jalfrezi, traka dhal are all great. The naan bread is almost pornographic with it's bubbles and layer of shimmering butter. Beer cold, too. Very nice indeed.Parking: Parking over the road, turning by the pedestrian lights, public carpark there. Free after 6

Lou's Cafe/Catering

Simple straight forward menu, good value and a friendly welcome. Enjoyed an egg, bacon and egg bab with an orange juice for under £7. Certainly worth searching out inside the entrance to Travis Perkins.

Indian Voojan Restaurant

Very tasty food, served in a very professional manner. Waiters were really funny and kind, especially to kids, and it makes the whole atmosphere very fun. Would definitely recommend.

Daphne Restaurant

Five of us had lunch here: Borek, Grilled Halloumi and small meze for starters. All home cooked and tasty. Our mains were just as good: juicy chicken kebabs, vegetarian dishes, reasonable portions too. The baklava came with lemon sorbet and was enjoyed by all. Turkish Coffee was authentic, very enjoyable. Waiter was friendly, patient and had a lovely way to connect with clients. Will come again!

D’Ambrosi Fine Foods

We had an amazing time at D’Ambrosi. We were a group of 9 and the service was great. Food was so delicious. We ordered twice as everything was so yummy. The owner was lovely and the place very beautiful and well decorated. Highly recommended for a lunch spot or take away picnic!

Easy to order, tasted fresh and balanced. Really good food! Price of £8.50 for a medium, all ingredients come in the set price. ?? Smaller, not much seating, but turnover is quick, and even on a Saturday it’s quiet.

Robis Indian Takeaway (Cheltenham)

Been hunting for the best pathia for years. Iv just had it extra green chillies as requested made it the best Iv had. Won’t be going anywhere else again. Had tough chicken and watery curries from 5 other curry houses in Chelt but this was the best! Well deserved 5

The Cellar - Stow on the Wold

Excellent wine bar - we had the wine tasters, which were really interesting. Fun to try something new! Owner was knowledgeable and service was good. We had some small plates to share, which were delicious and well presented. I'm vegetarian and had lots of choice. Steongly recommend!

Brewhouse & Kitchen - Cheltenham

Good meal for the price. Fantastic selection of well brewed beers. Staff knowledge in the product is at a good level. Friendly service and cosy atmosphere. Wakana was our server at the time of our visit.

Felt really comfy and at home here with super nice staff. Plenty of cosy corners and a great atmosphere. Great range of drinks and some simple bar food if needed. Love the 80s night!

Mel's Cafe

A quick and easy place to get a traditional cooked breakfast for very reasonable prices.It's on an industrial estate so I imagine it caters for local workers, but there was plenty of room and the service good. Coffee and tea come free with your meal which is a massive plus.Food 8/10Price 9/10Parking: There are a couple of spaces but the rest is street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility. It is up some steep stairs.

Benhall Fish Bar

Always freshly cooked and delicious. This is among one of the best in Cheltenham without doubt. It gets busy on a weekend at around 6 with all the delivery drivers picking up food, so you might have a bit of a wait.

Kings Tandoori & Balti

A lovely meal just as I expected. My father has been coming here for over 20 years. The service wasn't particularly prompt however (despite the fact that we were the only one's in there at one point).

L'Artisan French Bistro - Café du Midi

Having lived in France for over 12 years, we always search out a French restaurant when travelling the UK. We were NOT disappointed with Yves excellent menu and Elizabeth’s friendly and attentive hospitality. Loved the aperos, starter and main, did I mention pudding too? We got to brush up on our rusty French too. We’ll be back and bring friends next time. Thank you. Merci beaucoup pour ce déjeuner excellent.

Le Champignon Sauvage

One word, incredible.This is comfortably the best dining experience I have had recently, the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was delicious in every bite, the wine list was varied and interesting, and the explanations given for each dish had you enjoying the food before you even ate it. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough if you are here for a special occasion.

The Railway

Incredible variety of dishes at a very reasonable price. The red curry chicken skewers were a personal favourite alongside the Thai sausage and duck salad. Staff are amazing and very accommodating, great wine list and atmosphere. Would definitely visit again had a throughly enjoyable time. Thank you!

The Strand

The burgers and beer we had were great, as was the bar staff. The nachos we had as a starter were cold and lacked cheese, jalapenos etc. But maybe they were not meant to be traditional. We enjoyed the beer, but its deceptively strong!

Rotunda Tavern

This was the surprise of my week in Cheltenham for the Jazz Festival. I had ignored it on my previous visits because it never really came up on the beer radar but was passing by and saw four ales advertised on the exterior board and decided to take a look and glad I did. My primary reason for visiting was because of its location dead opposite Montpellier gardens, which is the hub for the Jazz Festival with its three main concert venues and the large festival bar. The Festival Bar this year was sponsored and run by Purity, and as much as I am partial to a pint of UBU, I’m not going to pay the Festival price of £6.70 a pint. The pub has a traditional dark wood panelled interior which was formerly two rooms but now opened up into a main bar area and a connected room opposite. Each section is wooden floored and has a flat screen tele for the sports. It looks quite lived in in parts but the seating areas are comfortable. It has two vistas, the main entrance, which is on the main road facing the gardens and benefits from a large pavement area which is utilised as the outside space for the pub. It’s a lovely sun trap spot but you do get the world and his wife walking past. Then there is a second back entrance from Montpellier Street behind and this side has four outside bench seats along the pavement section. The bar supports four handpumps and during my visits Salopian Oracle and Otter Bitter were on all the time and Goffs Jester no 4 NZ Pale Ale, Goffs Cheltenham Gold, Butcombe Haka and Stroud Brewery Tom Long rotated on the other two. The Salopian Oracle was a fine pint and I tended to stay on this but did try the Otter Bitter and the Goffs Jester no 4 which were perfectly fine but not to my taste as much as the oracle. This is a very friendly pub and is epitomised by who I assumed to be the Landlord and Landlady who are helpfulness and cheeriness personified and a clearly running a decent wet led pub (the only food on offer are toasted Paninis and baps). The only negative for me was that the Gents are in the basement down a very steep set of steps and after a couple I decided to use the toilets in the Festival site rather than risk the descent.

Siam Smile

Fantastic Thai food, presented exceptionally well and served with great Thai hospitality. Cheltenham has a few good Thai restaurants, but Siam Smile is the best!

DEYA Mixed Fermentation Taproom

If you are in the region trying some DEYA beers in the main taproom, then you really mustn't miss out on this little mixed fermentation side brewery just round the corner. Around 7 or 8 beers available on draught all brewed a little differently but with amazing results! Bit of a hidden gem as I don't think many people know it's only round the corner from the main taproom but is really worth a visit. Seats around 40 people max with some dim lighting.

Tivoli Cheltenham

Fantastic evening. The staff were brilliant and we were given the lovely booth table ( table 19 I think) we arrived slightly early to a busy pub and were able to sit at our table. The food great value for money and the gentleman serving us was friendly and attentive.We will definitely be returning. Thankyou so much!

Didn't get food, beer was fine, service was good, went both nights we stayed in Cheltenham but found atmosphere different each night, Friday was good, less so on Saturday, that said place was clean, felt safe, beer wasn't a rip off with a decent choice and good staff.

Balti Walla

Had a pickup takeaway. Food was on time and very hot. As a family we all had different items and all was very good. The order process was also good where they described the dishes we ordered. Will be back.

Circus Bar

Total surprise finding a Samuel Smiths pub in town. All their usual ales on keg together with an extensive selection of their bottled ales. Top class service from a bar person who knows a thing or two about the brewery. So pleased to have called in here ??

Imperial Haus

Very nice atmosphere. Quirky place that's nicely decorated. Was a bit small for our party but guessing that's our fault for booking 2 floors and not 3.Service was friendly but very slow.

Starbucks

Been going to this Starbucks since they opened, so inconsistent with everything. Different prices for the same drink each time, drinks not tasting of anything or bitter, queues as long as your arm.There finally seems to be some order over the last few weeks, the quickest I have ever been served here and that seems to be down to the new Manager Kyle. Well done that Man even if my drink had no syrup they were quick to remake without any issues. Let's hope this continues. ?

New England Coffee House

loved the atmosphere of this place. Nice n cozy!But I was charged twice… :( I paid by credit originally but a lady told me that the transaction failed. I paid with cash afterwards. Now I noticed that the first transaction was successful… Still it was a great experience!

Havanas Coffee

The coffee & food is soo good here! The service is great too, really quick and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is nice and wholesome, also I love the interior it is gorgeous? Thank you Havanas !

Spencer's Cafe - Cheltenham

Nice cafe.Great portions and friendly staff.Milkshake was delicious!!It's really good that they have a smaller portion of the English breakfast too.But they had deflated red balloons hanging off the lights which looked a bit odd, it would have been better if they got rid of those entirely.

Treats 4 U

Fantastic food. I particularly love the peri chicken burger, tender and really juicy. They also got a nice offer going on during lunch time if you are able to collect in store. Five stars?

Lakeside Takeaway

Excellent chippy, gluten free options were great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Chips great and batter perfect. 1 mark dropped for the fluorescent and oddly sweet tasting mushy peas, but otherwise highly recommended .Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options.

Not eaten here yet but it's a lovely pub. Great craft beer selection, including a gluten free option when I have been in. Lovely beer garden. Helpful and welcoming staff.

Dropped in from Brass Band competition at Cheltenham racecourse. First pub we found. Normal menu was closing at 16.00 so we waited for the Thai kitchen to open. Not disappointed, a varied menu, and good tasty Thai food at very reasonable prices. A happy accident.

Roasted Cafe

Great food, great service, cannot fault anything at this hidden gem of a cafe. Been coming here for almost a year now and it very quickly became our favourite cafe for breakfasts, lunches even special chicken and chip nights on Thursdays. Takeaway is also an option as well as fresh local bakery breads and while rotisserie chicken

The Whitesmiths Arms

Stopped for Sunday lunch and a few drinks. Great roast, 50p pool, very friendly. Cracking old school local, not many left like this. Amazing historic building as well.

Caffè Nero

Such a wholesome coffee shop! Our lattes were lovely & warm just as they should be? There are lots of food options to choose from too. The interior is so cosy as well I love it. Thank you x

National Hunt

This pub is absolutely excellentThe food, the service and the staff are 10/10The value is exceptional. We had starter, dinner, dessert and about 4 pints each for less than £60We are staying up the road in Leonardo for the race week.I hope other tourists find and support this place

Munchies

Very nice food. Shop is a bit small so often need to queue outside as even before covid you could maybe get three customers queueing in the shop, post covid that is more like one. The card machine can be a bit slow and it does not support American express. Other than that really nice lunch.

Chicken Inn

Always tasty food, big portions, and very nice staff. Highly recommended if you want a great fish and chips, or try the nice curry, rice and chips.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, you go straight into the shop.
