I work from home and it can be quite lonely sometimes. So I pop along to Bar No9 with my laptop and treat myself to a lovely breakfast or lunch (or both if I have a lot to do).This is also one of the only establishments I actually feel comfortable walking in on my own. I often pop in after work and sit at the bar for a cheeky glass of house red… which normally turns into a couple. The bar staff are always chatty and very welcoming.

Everything about the bar is fantastic, 5*.The venue, the location, the staff (Ellie and her team cannot do enough for you, the drinks (great beers and spirits, the cocktails are to die for), the food, the ambience, they're dog friendly, the events they run....the list goes on.5* isn't high enough.

Friends recommended bar no.9. Living locally we'd thought we'd give it a go for my father in law for his big birthday.Definitely book - appears very popular and a fairly small well presented venue.Good choices between menu of brunch and lunch.Order and pay at the bar. Reasonable prices for good food with a decent portion size - which is rare as of late!Staff friendly and very helpful.Toilets modern and spotless.Nice touch of the offer of a free drink for birthday boy too.Would recommend and Definitely plan to return.

We hired the venue for a 40th birthday celebration. The service we received from Ellie and her team was faultless. We had the most fantastic time. It’s a lovely size venue for a private party. We were able to get in 2 hours before the event to get set up. Would highly recommend to others for a private hire. Thanks so much Ellie.
