“It was cosy and warm (cold night) and they served me a great steak. It has comfortable seating and good service so I reckon it deserves 4 stars. I nearly dropped them a star because they served a Gin & Tonic for my wife without lemon (had to ask) and there was no alternative to slimline tonic (yuk). I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time but if it happens again, definitely going down a star.”

“We love Sunday roast here but celebrated my birthday last Saturday and had a chance to try other dishes we hadn’t tried before. Limited choices on the main menu but don’t forget to look at the lovely specials on the board.Great quality of food with produce from local farms but also come with a price. For £19.50, I would expect two sea bass fillets. They compensated the dish with a crab meat and prawn spring roll cut into two pieces. Some may like it but if I wanted sea bass, I preferred 2 fillets than 1 with a spring roll.We had a dog with us, so always sat in the bar area. Staff ok, more like trainees in the bar area, probably more professional in the main dining room.10% service charge we understood, not many people carry cash nowadays.”

“The Swan is a great pub and the staff are friendly and work well together. Popped there for Sunday lunch. The food needed to be hotter it was only warm. The Yorkshire puddings were hard and dry. Also families in there with children running around.......Parking: Parking in Cheltenham is expensive doesn't matter where you park.”

Apart from that everything was great.Parking: They were a number of parking spots next to the pub, but they were quite full. Managed to find the last spot.Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu and it is a family friendly pub.”
