14 of us went for breakfast they had no bacon as they ran out on mother's day, black pudding was disgusting as I had booked it I was disgusted in the choice one of the party was charged £7.99 just for 2 Weetabix and all I had I was Sausage sandwich and a pan au chocolate and was charged £10 definitely won't be going back again and it as put me off going to any of their pubs

Philomen always gives a professional service and food was exceptional - even though they were working under extreme pressure.

We have come here today with our mother. Table booked 12.45pm. waitress took orders at 1.15. we are still sat here at 2.25 waiting for our food and new booked customers waiting to be seated. If you have a promotion on you should make sure you have the staff. Absolutely shocking!!!!!!!

Food was fine but the place is dated. The waitress clearly wasn't happy at having to be there. Shame as used to be a nice

This is based on today Sunday 3rd MarchI've travelled to stay here for a week in the linked premier inn. I've come into the restaurant for dinner ti be faced with a miserable face giving off vibes that she really doesn't want to serve customers... I've been here before and it's mostly really good but 1 grumpy member of staff just ruins it.Such a shame

Yesterday I decided to give our local Beefeater another try.I ordered grilled King prawn skewer and chips which came with a salad. It arrived. Four, yes four king prawns which were over cooked and very chewy. The onion and red pepper also overcooked. The chips were acceptable. The salad was good. BUT, for £19? Sorry Beefeater I will not be returning anytime soon. The premises were dreary smelly and didn't look clean, especially the toilets. I felt especially sorry for our server.Parking: Easy parking probably because of not too many diners.

One of the best of the beefeater chain. Delicious Sunday roast ( lamb was cooked to perfection ) breakfast for £9.99 is also always been a winner with the whole family. The staff is friendly and attentive. Big shout to lovely Philomen who looked after us and made sure we had all we needed. My little girl had a great time too looked after with crayons and food served in great time to keep her happy. Thank you :) see you again soon

Good food, but obviously short staff. I had to wait half an hour to get my bill and pay. The waitress was very good and nice, but she was alone on the floor. Some music would be nice too. 3/5stars for the lack of staff.

For a birthday celebration we went for a family breakfast. The food was cold and the service was even colder. They gave me greasy bacon when I asked for overcooked. I ordered porridge. At first they forgot to bring it.when they did it was so dry it came out of the bowl like a solid pudding. I would never go there again - EVER.

Stayed at the attached Premier inn. Booked a meal deal. Breakfast and dinner. Breakfast excellent. Good selection. Food quality good. Evening meal whilst large quantity food quality was poor and tasteless. Would only book the breakfast in futureParking: Plenty of free parking
