“Wow!!! The Indian food here is top notch. I have got to say I was not expecting much as it is a pub environment but the food was fantastic so much so that I have literally just finished my plate and I am straight on here to rate it which I do not do often.

I am big on Indian food and this is definitely a stop for any Indian food lover ❤️”

“Visited Saturday night as a group of 12 after visiting Cheltenham races. Great food, super friendly staff and a banging beer selection. Quite simply one of the best pubs i’ve ever visited.”

“My wife and I often walk to Bath Road from home and we like popping to the Norwood Arms for lunch.

The traditional English breakfast on their brunch menu is consistently good, not greasy with crisp hash browns and nice toast. We also had a slice of Victoria sponge and a mug of tea each, which is good value at £3.49. We usually take the cake home to have later!

One suggestion for improvement is the hot water for breakfast tea which should be a tad hotter.

I ordered at the bar and the young lady who served me was friendly and most helpful.

“We came to The House In The Tree for a meal Mother's day 30th March 2025 . It was my husbands 60th birthday and there were 20 of us. Well what can I say. The staff were amazing and attentive, nothing was too much trouble and they were all genuinely friendly, happy people and it was so busy. This pub gas vastly improved since the lat time I was in this pub drinking there was a great selection of hand pumped ales on offer a really pleasent clientelle and bar staff today
This is a propper locals pub, and the real ales are interesting breweries and well-kept ales”
