A generous bowl of delicious soup, chilli-spiced to just the right level.Good service.

A very disappointing breakfast visit, I was expecting a better experience after reading reviews and passing many times however it was very poor. The young staff seemed to be doing the best they could but I feel they need more training. Upon arrival our table needed wiping , and the place was cold inside. I ordered breakfast and coffee and the coffee cup was very small (I wasn't offered sizing while ordering) and the coffee was not that hot. The glass for the apple juice already had half cm of water in it which I emptied out and the glass was rather smeared. The bacon was not cooked properly Raw on the end, about 20 beans in total , and the ciabatta toast was very hard for myself and my partner. The breakfast was cold. We had to ask for salt and pepper these are not on the table already. The ladies toilet are not clean. For a cafe in sutch a prominent place should be doing better , I work hard for my money and for the price you charge is terrible , I would have had a better breakfast in wetherspoons for sure at half of the price. The owner of this establishment needs to take a close look at what's going on , take some pride and do things properly.

I’ve tried The Clementine Cafe twice now just in case my first average experience was a one off, or I chose the wrong things on the menu, but unfortunately I’ve left disappointed on both occasions. Fundamentally the food quality is really poor for the price you pay.I don’t mind paying £10+ for a cheese and ham toastie - Knead Bakery, Elkstone and Boulangerie at Dunkertons do this very well, but Clementine’s misses the mark, the filling is bland and sparse, it was overcooked and the limp side salad swimming in sticky balsamic glaze did nothing to improve it at all. Our second dish was a fish finger sandwich, lovely fresh bread, but the fish was very poor and an over the top side salad again. The soups going out to tables looked wholesome and good so I did leave wondering if I should have ordered differently, but I don’t think I will be third time lucky.Juices and smoothies were OK, but at over £5, I really question value for money. The cutlery we had was dirty, between the fork prongs I could see leftover food and the whole place felt like it could do with a deep clean and a little TLC. We changed table twice to find one that was not broken/wobbly and the broken toilet door handles suggested further neglect. This cafe is always busy, clearly many do enjoy the food and the experience, so perhaps try for yourself.

Fantastic place for Brunch, food was really good and very reasonably priced. Was a bit squashed in & the back door was annoying as it kept blowing open but that shouldn’t takeaway from the amazing food. Staff were rushed off their feet but always had a smile on their faces

Disappointed. Ordered two coffees and was charged £8 and they were tiny! One of them felt half full.

Nice little cafe restaurant in Montepellier.Good food selection and friendly staff. The salmon poke bowl was quite a big portion but tasty and white truffle fries were absolutely addicting. They also had an assortment of cakes and pastries and different flavoured ice cream to chose from.

The food and coffee is good quality but the prices are very high. Bought an iced latte, a coke, a lemonade and a brownie and they all cost me £15.

Lovely welcome after walking in the rain. Very nice coffee (albeit in a too-small cup) and superb croissant served warm. Reasonable price and interesting surroundings too. Would recommend.

I came here with my daughter for lunch. I ordered a cheese toastie and my daughter had poached eggs on toast - both with sour bread. Unfortunately my toastie was like biting into a breeze block - I had to give up and left most of it - my mouth is still sore. My daughter’s meal was pretty much the same but slightly softer because of the eggs. She just about managed to finish it but like me has a sore mouth. Clearly the sour bread was stale and the toasting dried it out too much. Both meals were served with some limp salad. I looked to complain to waiting staff whilst struggling to eat but there were none in site so was left to complain when paying. All I got was ‘sorry about that’ but no reduction for the cost of the building materials from the bill. We won’t be back!

Nice location but our coffees arrived and had coffee grounds floating on the top of the cups and the outside of the cups were dripping in coffee so very messy. The slice of clementine cake was nice but very thin for £4.50 which feels really pricey.
