It’s a nice place but £25 for 2 (double )Bacardi and coke . No thank you . Charging this type of price is outrageous . If you want a drink go to the Plough it will be half that price and they have a nice garden .

Overpriced, uninspiring, bland food. Go elsewhere.

Nice meal tonight, between 6:30 & 8:10pm on Wednesday 26th March 2025, thanks. A late birthday celebration.

However, our visit was badly spoiled when we left and went back to the upper car park, only to find someone had reversed into our car (a Calypso Red, 1999 BMW/Alpina B3), and badly damaged the front.

The owner of the vehicle that hit it had then drove off without reporting anything or leaving a note. The vehicle in front of us when we arrived at 6:30pm was a large black pickup truck. When we left at 8:10pm it was gone and the damage to our car was there.

A large, but intimate setting for food and drink in Prestbury village

We’ve just had a fantastic Sunday lunch here on what was a really busy day , the staff never stopped, and they also had to put up with some awful behaviour from another customer , who was totally out of order . The staff were great and handled the situation perfectly. We have been many times to the King’s Arms and we’ve always had wonderful food and great service . Thank you - we will be back soon !

Nice service and surroundings. Xmas meal mixed. Lovely starter and desert but main course strange. Roasted veg underdone. Not a proper xmas dinner. Dont mess with tradition !

Had a Sunday dinner here, the meal was over priced for what was served and the quality of the food, they had a weird selection of veg on the plate (beetroot??) the potato’s were stale like they have been sat for a few hours, re heated and put on the plate, same with the Yorkshire pudding, the chicken was dry and my brother reported it didn’t taste very nice, and my other brother spent the rest of the afternoon on the toilet after his meal !! (He had the pork)

Parking: Parking is very limited

Great meal for our Christmas treat with friends. Food excellent and a lovely friendly service in a fabulous pub setting. Highly recommend you visit

Our take and every take around us has to ask for extra gravy. Perhaps don't put it on but invest in some good size gravy jugs so everyone doesn't have to ask for more?

I had lunch on a Saturday with my family. Both the food and service were excellent.
I requested a quiet table in the restaurant and we were given a private space within the dining area which was perfect.
It was a very enjoyable meal.
