It’s a Wagamama’s.If you've been to any other branch you know what you're getting. They’re all pretty much of a muchness differentiated only by the quality of the food and the service on any given day. This branch has always given great service from genuinely friendly staff and we’ve yet to have a duff meal here.Prices generally are expensive but I can’t fault the quality of the food: always hot and tasty.Parking in Cheltenham is difficult. If you’re new to the area or just visiting, use the park and ride (GL51 6SY).

Recently visited the Cheltenham Wagamama for a family dinner, we were treated to a lovely dinner by our server Seweryn. Its a great Japanese food experience with a lively atmosphere and would happily recommend.

Arrived at 10pm on Saturday night to be told that it was takeaway only. This is despite their opening hours stating open until 11. We the. Proceeded to order on Deliveroo. The order went through and we walked home to await delivery. 10 mins later our order was cancelled without reason. Stick to your opening hours..you ruined our evening.

Nice sides & main meals. The service is quite quick and the staff are friendly too. Really relaxed atmosphere as well, thanks!

A large Wagamama with a standard menu. Brisk, friendly service. Pleasingly busy on a Thursday night without being crowded.

I have visited this place more than 5 times already and can firmly say that it is a decent restaurant to go to in order to have some extraordinary food for relatively small, especially if that's your first encounter with eastern cuisine. I appreciate chicken ramen particularly.I loved the fact you can see a big part of the kitchen, however felt a little bit uncomfortable because the dining space was one whole big room with no walls or cozy corners (it might be a good benefit for outgoing visitors though)Some of the food is extremely tasty, although, some dishes would have a huge bunch of rice with very small pieces of meat (so you finish meat quite early ending up eating only rice). Also, once i had a dish that wasn't indicated as spicy on the menu, but in fact it was so spicy for me that i couldn't enjoy its taste without coughing and drinking water after every spoon of the dish. Last bit is that the straws for drinks are really short and you barely can drink with that straw without emerging it fully into the drink.Nothing distinctive about staff.Really liked the way you pay online (on website) which allows you to quickly complete transaction and easily split the bill into different amounts of money.

Good quality food at reasonable prices. Service is a bit disjointed, with food coming out as it's ready rather than in order. It was a bit weird for some people to get their starters half way through the main, while other people had no food at all.Tables are laid out in long rows so be prepared to share a bench/table.

This location had good food, great flavor, hot food, and good service. Pretty much all you can ask for from an unassuming wagamama.

Wagamamas is a staple for me as a coeliac. The menu is clear and the allergen practices are good. There is a separate gluten free menu which is always reassuring. I ordered the mushroom skewers, shrimp starter and a pad Thai. The manager took my order and everything was done in line with their allergen policy which I liked. Nothing worse than feeling like you might get glutened. Starters were delicious, free green tea was nice, main massive let down. I ordered pad Thai because I wanted a nice tasty dish, however I ended up with a severe excess of chilli in my meal and the noodles were a little underdone. I ate most of the meal just thinking I was super bad with spice, however after my boyfriend tried some he too agreed it was very spicy for a pad Thai. I should have said something earlier but I didn’t - classic British behaviour - however I did ask the manager at the end of the recipe was different or something because it was super spicy. She was very kind and went to check with the chef even though she assured me they don’t use lots of chilli in the pad Thai. Upon her return I was informed that the prep bags had accidentally ended up with a lot more chilli in than usual - thus my spicy pad Thai - but that she would not charge me for the meal. I thought this service was exemplary. I didn’t ask for it to be knocked off and I would have felt a little awkward because I ate a lot of it without saying anything BUT the fact that it was immediately removed from the bill was really great. It encouraged me to want to return to this restaurant regardless of the chilli fiasco !! Well done Wagamamas.

Ordered their ramen through Deliveroo. They forgot the egg. The noodles were not packaged separately so they were a soggy, mushy mess and there was hardly any broth. Terrible. And the prices are exorbitant for what you get. Do not recommend. Won’t be going back.

Excellent service and freshly cooked and delicious food. Some nice touches as well, such as online bill payment options with the facility to have a VAT receipt emailed to you. I'd recommend it for the good food and drink alone, but the touches make it well worth a visit.Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options, including aiming to make vegetarian and vegan options more appealing even to the carnivores visiting!

Came on a visit down to family. We had a few different bits and pieces, highlight for me was the chicken hotpot. Stellar. My (pregnant) wife had ramen and just loved the broth so much as she hasn't been eating much due to nausea, we asked for a bowl of just that and they were more than happy to oblige. Service was

i love wagamama ^^ and i have gone here several times. amazing vegan options, same with portion sizes. always really yummy, though often they have a small thing not available, such as the vegan ‘egg’ or the ramen specific noodles etc. staff are really friendly and always helpful.atmosphere can be overstimulating but if you pick a spot next to the window you’re good :)

What can I say about Wagamama Cheltenham, its big and impressive. The food was very good. I had a new dish on the menu, it was a rice bowl with chicken. Very nice... in fact I shall have it again!
