we went for a coffee and decided on the bakery. Coffee is a good standard however the cake portion was a joke. At nearly £4 a slice; when we opened the bag the piece of cake was a SLIVER - less than a centimetre . I find this extremely stingy and bad value and unnecessary. A piece of cake at £4 a slice should be a proper portion . I know times are hard but this is ridiculous and off putting .Won't return

Excellent cafe with good food and drink with efficient and friendly service..we live too far away to visit weekly but visit at least 5 times a year. The bakery is a top addition. Bread, tiramisu, amaretti biscuits so good but everyone should have a mince pie from here before they die!!!??

Booked a table for dinner on a Saturday evening absolutely amazing food. We had Olives and Sticky beef to start followed by the Rib Eye steak and Mushroom risotto for main course with a bottle of Sangiovese. The food was fabulous homecooked flavoursome food, lovely warm atmosphere and really reasonably priced and able to accommodate a coeliac with ease. Highly recommend

Our first visit but would definitely go back.Friendly and helpful staff, great food too. Himself was very happy with the casserole of beef blade and I had an excellent fish salad with salmon and mackerel.

We have just had our breakfast, absolutely delicious, superb staff too. We sat outside, nothing not to like . It’s lovely inside too. Thank you

£11 for a toasted cheese and ham sandwich which we thought would be good quality at the price, but no, thin slice of plastic cheap ham, spoonful of shop bought cheap slimy coleslaw and the bits at the bottom of a crop packet! Very disappointing

Perfect in every way. The food was delicious, the staff were hard working, attentive and friendly and the setting on the outdoor terrace was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and we would return without question. Wonderful experience all round.

Lovely setting outside with pleasant 1940's music. Fussy menu which Mediterranean lovers would appreciate. I ended up with an uninspiring ham and cheese toastie (£11) friend had a delicious burger (£16).

Beautiful setting, lovely outside seating area, great coffee, friendly staff, whats not to like, we've been to the Stow on the Wold restaurant which is always good too but this is in a lovely place, recommend

We did not eat in their restaurant as we visited their bakery next door and decided to order a sandwich, salad, pastry and some drinks and simply eat them on the wooden bench outside. Our focaccia sandwich was excellent! Everything we ate was delicious and pretty inexpensive. Our experience was only with the bakery and we would recommend stopping for a casual lunch or bite.
Lucky to be seated quickly and in a lovely table outside. Staff are friendly and efficient. The food is amazing;great flavours and not overpriced. Would definitely recommend ????

This is a cozy place to eat, but the seating and the acoustics are bad, and it is hard to have a conversation across the table on a busy night. The portions are small, men the food is good - especially the tiramisu. Nothing out of the ordinary, though. In addition it is uncool to charge money in advance, when you make a reservation.

Rip off Britain at its worst. £31 for two ham and cheese toasties and two coffee. Basically two mouthfuls of sandwich and a few crisps and. Table spoon of colslaw. Unbelievably bad value. Then audacity to put 12% on for service

Just love this place. I have eaten at Huxleys many times but the last time was with my wife. We sat outside under the canopy for lunch. Lovely atmosphere with all the tables full. Had two courses and the food was excellent as usual. Service was on point and very friendly staff. Campden has a number of very good places to eat and all are very good. Huxleys is great for a simple coffee and cake or a nice meal on the lunchtime or evening. It has a lot going for it.

We stopped here for lunch and were greeted by an amazing hostess who looked after us. This restaurant is an amazing place in the middle of the Cotswolds. Food is nice, reasonably priced, staff fantastic
