We stayed for a night in January and had dinner and breakfast at the cozy pub. The dinner menu is well curated featuring seasonal ingredients. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and well balanced in flavors. The smoked trout appetizer was stunning, the burger was indulgent and the fish and chip was perfectly crispy but not greasy. The panna cotta dessert was silky smooth and light. The dining area is spacious and has a fireplace. Thanks for the hospitality!

Lunch - food/menu was great. Service was great. Pub was old and cotswoldy. The dog enjoyed herself. Everyone happy ?

We had four meals at The Ebrington Arms. Fish and chips and seasonal pie.The seasonal pie wasn’t a pie at all. It was a slice from Greg’s that had been reheated. Had no turkey or bacon in it only stuffing. Pastry was dry and burnt which couldn’t be eaten. The fish and chips. The batter on the fish was so hard it would have broken a rock. There was very little fish within this rock hard batter shell. This seemed like it had been cooked previously and refried. We advised the manager who responded that there was nothing they could do other than £12 discount. Considering the meal was £140 this really doesn’t touch the sides for such a disappointing meal that none of us are. And left hungry. We have had many meals in the area and they have been fantastic. To have four out of four meals bad 100% success in providing a terrible experience without any acknowledgement from the so called manager sums this place up.Spend your money else where there is some absolutely fabulous places in the area.

Ok, but for the money, felt this could have been better. Service was a bit slow, but ok. Steak was not the greatest piece of meat and chicken was fairly tasteless. Overall, nice but underwhelming.Nearby activities: Walking - across to Foxcote Estate is particularly pretty or up onto Ebrington Hill. Vegetable Matters cafe. Hidcote Gardens. Chipping Campden.Walkability: Walking distance from the middle of the village with decent walks around the surrounding countryside.Food & drinks: The food we had was ok, but not great. Friends had eaten there a few weeks before and said it was excellent. They joined us for a second trip and we all felt it was a little disappointing. Perhaps the chef was having an off night.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful village, great location. Close to Batsford Arboretum which is well worth a visit.Staff very friendly and efficient. Restaurant served great food and the vegetarian fried breakfast was substantial and tasty with proper crusty bread.Nice bar too with log fire.

Nice place, good food and wait staff.Excellent quality across the board. Only drawback was I don’t think a bourguignon sauce of such a beefy nature worked with a fillet of halibut, which I had for my main. Was a bit like eating a very meaty gravy Sunday dinner with a piece of fish rather than beef. The separate elements of the dish were all very well executed and extremely tasty though. All other dishes were excellent.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Incredible staff who anticipated and met every need or question, very comfortable and accommodating room, fabulous food and drink, and an outstanding, bordering on surreal, Cotswold location with paths, charm, and everything quiet you're looking for...the Ebrington Arms experience is truly remarkable. You will tell people about your stay here.

A beautiful location and decorated country pub - lovely staff everyone can’t do enough for you, even bringing water and snacks for the dogs, food was great and highly recommend the skins and sauce and the Halibut. Thank you!

Whenever I am near I always visit. I absolutely adore this gorgeous pub. Always friendly and welcoming. The staff are so polite, so helpful. The food is delicious and well priced. Great wine list and choice of ale. I can not rate this pub enough. Cannot wait until my next visit.

We were staying locally and came here for dinner one Saturday night. The building is very pretty and the walls are adorned with its culture and local history. The bar area was very busy with people having pre-dinner drinks and the restaurant did not have many tables free. I would advise booking. They cater for diners with dogs in the bar area.We ordered the goats cheese and ham hock to start and the haddock and burger for our mains. They were all delicious and well cooked. Not a crumb was left.A gentleman on the table next to us returned his steak to the Kitchen as it was not cooked as he'd asked. It was dealt with efficiently and quickly without question. The staff were polite, professional, attentive and friendly.Noteworthy details: Please book a table as it gets very busy. The rear car park/entrance could do with some more lighting.
