“We dropped by The Minors at Sling for Sunday lunch with friendsThis is one of those traditional country pubs that is so hard to find these daysThere were four of us and we had two good sized Sunday roasts; beef and pork with crackling, Yorkshire puddings, gravy and mountains of fresh vegetables. It was delivered to the table and we carved it ourselves which was rather fun.The staff were delightful, so courteous and welcoming. The food really was excellent, cooked to perfection and there were so many charming and thoughtful little touches which told us that the staff really cared and wanted to produce very special meals for everybodyWe didn’t have room for pudding but we had them anyway. Each plate was a masterpiece of beautifully presented food.This was a truly delicious, very special meal and I can’t not recommend The Minors more highly.”
