We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts Naomi and Ray went out of their way to help us. Wether it be recommendations where to eat evening meal, local routes for walking. Lovely breakfast and enjoyable company of other guests. The new garden addition will add an enticing feature for relaxation! We will be back. Highly recommended.

Myself and two friends had a wonderful stay last night. Ray was such a great host and so friendly worth lots of stories. Our rooms were perfect and very comfortable, with nice bathrooms. Breakfast in the lovely kitchen was exactly what we needed. Ray and Naomi have thought of all the little details. Thank you for a wonderful night.

We stayed here overnight whilst walking the Cotswolds Way. Naomi and Ray our hosts were very welcoming and explained everything about the place. The room was superb with an excellent shower cubicle and very comfortable bed such that we had one of the best nights sleep whilst on the walk. Breakfast had a lovely range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast including gluten free options and for those that wanted it a full English breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and we were also able to get some laundry done as well. (For a small fee). This was a delightful place to spend a night and we would certainly return if in the area.

It's a half mile uphill drag out of the centre of Dursley if you're walking but well worth it once you get there. Ray was very welcoming and extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Spotlessly clean with all the facilities that we needed. Excellent breakfast.

We stayed at the Woodland House in Dursley in May 2023 to use it as a base for different trecking tours on the Codswolds Way. Ray & Naomi are very nice landlords, always open for advice, help and fun. The room which we did rent was clean and nice, the breakfast in der morning was "glourious". We really enjoyed our stay and we will come back again if we ever need accomodation in the Dursley region.

But above all was the warm welcome and hospitality that made our stay even more lovely. A very comfortable stay whilst walking the Cotswold Way. The room was clean with everything needed, and good comfy beds. Ray & Naomi are very welcoming. Just a few minutes walk into town, with an excellent range of pubs & restaurants.
I had a rush of blood to the head and decided to walk 35km of the Cotswold Way without any level of fitness of which to speak. I was so relieved to finally arrive at Woodland House, welcomed by Ray who made me feel right at home. I had the most amazing hot shower (great water pressure), followed by a stagger to one of the local pubs which was a 3 minute walk away (or an 8 minute stagger). The highlight of the day was melting into the comfortable bed and watching Netflix. Naomi and Ray have a beautiful, tastefully decorated home in a great location. They are friendly and perfectly hospitable. The room was super comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Ray & Naomi were excellent hosts.?The accommodation in the Emerald Bedroom was spacious and clean. The super king bed was very comfortable, much needed after a long day walking the Cotswold Way. Enjoyed a good meal at the Everest Nepalese restaurant in Dursley town centre , guests receive a 10% discount. Highly recommend to fellow walkers doing the Cotswold Way.

Wonderful large bedroom en breakfast and relax rooms. Hosts gave a lot of attention. Wonderful breakfast, clean, large television scale, restaurants and Cotswolds Way nearby. We did everything walking and public transport. Sustainable and gluten free.
