The Old Spot
2 Hill Rd, DursleyMy mother always said 'if you dont like a restaurant just dont go back, no point in complaining' that might not actually be what she said. But I live by thay moto anyway. So I only review things I like, which is why im reviewing the old spot. Do you remember whay a proper pub is like. If you dont get down to the Old Spot. Thats how a pub should be done it's just so friendly and full of character. The food was yum. Really enjoyed it. The beer selection is magnificent. What's not to like.

The rice was beautifully cooked - al dente and soft and creamy at the same time. The lasagne was very rich and cheesy. They do a lunchtime special of three courses for £16.95. Give it a try.

The atmosphere was buzzing and it’s a place that suits all ages as well as dogs. With background music ? it made for a good feeling vibe. We had the toasties and can recommend. Thank you ?

19 High St, Cam, DursleyI'm in here now while delivering to the wool mill nearby in my truck. Immediately this place gave me good vibes. I hope to deliver to the wool mill again as they let me park overnight on the land and I'll be back here. Lovely atmosphere and a lovely welcome. The area presents you with the Berkeley arms (also railway pub round the corner) and a pizza place, salt and vinegar fish bar and a Tesco's.

37 Long St, DursleyI first went here when I was 7 years old with my family. I remember having a tandoori mixed grill and walking back to the car because I ate way too much. I moved away from the area, yet no other Indian restaurant/takeaway could even come close. I’ve been back in the area for around a decade now and STILL love their food and their welcome atmosphere. So many curries end up having that layer of oil over the top, or the rice has been drenched in oil to keep it moist. Not here. Their pilot rice is fluffy and fragrant, while their dishes all taste fresh. A definite for those wanting Indian food done right.

So glad we did - we enjoyed our breakfasts, were able to seat ourselves quickly, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating (even with all the changes I made to the order!).
A refreshing experience after the poor service we’d just had elsewhere.

28 Uley Rd, Dursleyhad a 60th birthday meal for 15 of us today.... it was absolutely amazing, really delicious, well presented, top quality food and all came in record time.. we had all sorts from hunters chicken with all the trimmings to steak burger with pulled pork, the salmon was to die for and the moving mountain burger was 1st class.... also various basket meals, everything perfect... the cider pub of the year did us proud... also top quality, friendly staff... would definitely recommend this establishment...

57b Parsonage St, DursleyOrdered twice from here on our vacation from Canada and did not disappoint. Food was delicious and abundant. Very fair prices for the very generous portion sizes. Delivery driver was super friendly and very nice. Absolutely recommend to try here. If we lived here we would order from regularly. Keep up the good work!!

23-25 Long St, DursleyAbsolutely stunning setting beautiful lights and amazingly laid out tables the food absolutely delectable my favourite place to eat went unexpectedly with friend one server really stood out and had amazing service it's brilliant to see younger people working in our communities I really did just have the perfect time their chicken korma was my favourite will definitely be going back again I honestly couldn't go anywhere better it's not most people first place to go but it really should be will never say anything bad about them their chips were just top impeccable I have never eaten anything like them before food was cooked to perfection nothing was raw or overcooked their chef must be brilliant and really kind staff overall also it is very clean and you see them clean up everything multiple time to be at the top of standards

Dursley Rd, DursleyLeaf & ground didn’t disappoint, starting with the service, prompt, polite well informed. Food was on point, I had the smoked trout with beetroot to start. This was 10/10 for me my other half decided on the black pudding scotch egg which I have to say looked amazing. For mains we had the duck & and the chicken both were delicious again well presented, made with local ingredients and seasoned well. Desert was the meringue again this was on point, the rhubarb and pistachio topping I thought worked really well. Overall we all had a really nice evening in a beautiful setting. A must try for an a beautiful evening dinning experience.
