“10/10 last night for a Birthday meal. Thank you so very much for your hospitality for my mum’s birthday. Food was delicious, beautifully presented and filling! Skittle alley was great fun and everyone enjoyed - especially mum - she won!! She’s so good. Staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Brilliant! Recommended!!”

“Loved every minute, the old pub feel and low ceilings are a true feature to enjoy. The Sunday lunch was superb, the meats beef and chicken was cooked just right and plenty of good quality vegetables. Everything was great and for 6 of us the service and personal attention was top class. Highly recommended..!!

Parking: Probably 60 or so bays I would guess..”

“Really kind and helpful. Happy to provide plates and knife for our own birthday cake we brought with us. Dog very welcome. Great play area for children. Very comfortable and great Sunday roast with generous portion of meat and lovely cauliflower cheese.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and entry all flat with generous walkways. Toilets may be a challenge”

“Another lovely meal last night at The Globe. This time we took advantage of their Thursday offer of, all mains for a tenner deal. I had the liver which was just superb and my partner had the chicken in a creamy Stilton sauce, which was to die for. Portions are large for the price and the service is exceptional.”
