Went for a Friday solo lunch and saw that they did T Bone Steak. All the staff were friendly and Steak was cooked to my liking as medium. Dessert of Ice cream Raspberry Sundae was just right. Only minor critisism if that T Bone presentation could have been a little better but it did not effect the enjoyment.

This is the second year of having a work Christmas meal here, the food is so good! Huge portions, great tasty food. Everyone happy in the party. Veggie Christmas meal very good too.

We we're there with nine others, the meal was pre ordered, the place was very busy, we had to wait one and a half hours for the meal to arrive . The main meal was filled high on the plates,the food was quite nice but I thought lacked taste, too be fair I was the only person in our group with this opinion...Parking: Only two disable spots, that I could see

Went to the New Inn today 6th Dec as a table of 4.Arrived at 1245. Seated and ordered by 1300. The table was squashed in a corner so not the best. Drinks orders taken by a waitress food orders taken by a man.Food arrived 45 minutes later and was lovely. Fish and chips and Gammon Steak and eggs.At 1430 I went looking for our waitress and asked her to clear the plates and bring dessert menus. That's an hour after food was delivered. 30 minutes later she still hadn't been back for our dessert order so we paid and left.It's unfortunate. The food was really good. Please, please keep an eye on tables. I know you were very busy but the waitress was clearing and wiping tables when people had left rather than attending to those still on the premises.We will come back but please can we be looked after and not ignored. We wanted to enjoy a 2 course meal and drinks. Didn't get a second drink. We spent half what we intended to.

I would say booking is essential.This is a popular place to eat and it's understandable.The food was fantastic, really great portion sizes.If you are a lover of sticky toffee pudding, leave room for it. The best I've had.

We visited just prior to Christmas on a Wednesday lunch time. There was plenty of staff meaning the service was good. The food especially the Christmas lunch was really very good with plenty of meat and well cooked vegetables. Overall a very good experience. Will definitely visit again.

My wife and I had Sunday roast there was plenty of potatoes veg and stacks of chicken and lamb best Sunday roast we’ve had in a long time also the sundaes are to die for very friendly staff

It was quite busy but they managed to squeeze me and my partner in. He had the mixed grill, I had a gammon steak. We are still taken back by how delicious it was! The portions were huge, which we loved. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert but we WILL be back in the near future. The owner was funny and welcoming too! Thank you ever so much
