If I could leave zero stars I would. Took hours to arrive. Popadoms smelt like mould and damp, rest of the food smelt burnt grease and damp. Smell was so putrid I couldn’t eat it - to add insult to injury they forgot one of the main dishes, absolute shambles. Don’t even waste your time if you’re wanting a vegan/vegetarian curry. Do not waste your time or money

First impressions are that this is a fairly unassuming restaurant from the outside and similar inside. The the food however was excellent and the 'bring your own' policy for drinks meant the bill was far lower than it would otherwise have been. The service was very friendly too.

I got a takeaway last week and I usually have excellent food, however a asked for a korma sweetened and a sag paneer, the korma was tasteless and clearly not sweetened and the sag paneer clearly had all of the sugar, it was awful, it also didn't help it was cold which the delivery driver pretty much said it was my fault as I Jane ordered directly from them but just eat, I would say he was bordering on the aggressive, what a shame I loved their food but the attitude and taste was terrible ?

Incredible vegan selection, excellent value special offers on fantastic quality food. Best I’ve had in years, and will be going back. Hopefully often! If you’re vegetarian or vegan this is the place to go, they do things you won’t find at others and have probably missed. I’ve been told the non vegan dishes were also superb. Lovely people working there too.Vegetarian options: Extensive vegetarian and vegan options, there’s a vegetarian equivalent to everything. They also take care to keep things separate and clearly labelled. They even checked if we were okay with having the veggie stuff in the same carrier bag as the meat and dairy stuff!Dietary restrictions: Huge vegan selection and no confusion of what item contains what.

Avoid this place. Delivery driver called once and apparently left on my doorstep didnt want it left outside. paid over 20 for nothing and unwilling to sort it out. Will have to go through just eat to try get it refunded.

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered this evening, paid over £50 including delivery for a cold chicken tikka masala, greasy rice and a frozen cheese and melted chocolate macarons. We ordered papadoms with chutneys but only received the chutneys. After repeatedly trying too call the restaurant back to complain they turned the phone off and so did the delivery driver. I will definitely not be ordering from this s**t show of a take away again.

Had a meal at the Balti King last night, The decor and the furniture are from the 70’s, it was very dark, and how you can rate this place a 4.5 stars is beyond me. There was only 2 other people in the restaurant, which should have been an idea of what was to come. I have learnt my lesson, I shall never be returning to this restaurant ever again.

My boyfriend eats here regularly and took me there recently to share how wonderful the food is with me ....he is a big time curry lover and I was very pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food was too.....Will defo go back again and recommend to anyone who asks where they would suggest for an Indian.

I came here on a date with my boyfriend, as a vegetarian it’s my go to Indian for their amazing options which you can’t get anywhere else, but even for my omnivorous boyfriend this is the nicest place we have been too!
