Ordered a feast, and was not disappointed!We ordered, via Uber Eats, last night. And whilst Uber Eats let us down, Luke and his wife contacted us and went above and beyond to sort out our order (even offering to drive it over to us themselves!).The food was hot, fresh and full of flavour. The meat used is really good quality and everything arrived in great condition. All the family enjoyed their dinner. You can tell the food was made with care, and the options are great value.It's so good to see someone doing kids portions of 'proper food', not just the usual chicken nuggets etc. They're half portions of the full menu for half the price; genius.Recommend the hot dog with chili and the mac & cheese is the ultimate comfort food! We'll be coming back, but direct next time!

Situated above Costa coffee in Southgate street...you may walk past unaware. I visited daytime but check opening as it's not open every day.After walking upstairs you can will find the bar to the the left. It's a very old pub and is a grade one Jacobean listed building. The fireplace is a beautiful piece of work. But the bar is extremely tired looking and has an old building musty smell. Also there aren't that many seats. A window table is the best which there are three of. However the food choice is so much more exciting than anywhere else and nicely presented. Pan Asian fusion. Sushi, Japanese tapas, ramen and hot grill with some exotic meats to choose from.Also the bar has a huge choice of spirits and proper cocktails. Mixed In front of you and not some premix.There is a lovely restaurant and I would imagine it popular in the evenings...tho it is open during the day most people sit in the bar. Going up another floor there is a sports bar again probably more used at weekends. Certainly recommend the food and cocktails.

Came here for a family Sunday lunch. Although the pub is tucked away, it is very popular. There is a reasonably sized car park but it filled up quickly, so try to get an early table if possible (when we left, people were double parked). Staff were friendly and welcoming, food came quickly. There is also a play area for kids and outdoor seating for when the weather warms up. Recommended.Food & drinks: Portions are generous so it would be best to have a starter (or two) if you have a small appetite. They had vegan options for starters and mains and three vegan options for dessert (two vegan ice creams and a sorbet).

I visited Cote last week for a dinner with my friend. It was a really nice experience, in a lovely relaxed environment. Everyone there was really nice and friendly, and the food was delicious. To eat I had the duck a l'orange, and for dessert I had their take on a creme brulee. Everything tasted wonderful and I would highly recommend people go there if they are looking for a nice relaxing evening.

Often use the drive thru with my elderly mum who loves a Mac D. Late mornings we usually get served by a lovely lady who is always helpful, efficient and multi tasking, I don't know how she does it. Rare to find someone who has time to exchange a few cheery words during a busy job but it makes all the difference. Never fails to offer great service. This one member of staff makes us select this branch over others. I hope she gets recognised for her hard work because working in Mac D's is a tough job, I know because I worked in one of their first UK branches back in the day!

I only gave 3 stars for service because the young woman serving failed to say the plates were very hot, so myself and another member of our group got scolded. Atmosphere is fine, there seemed to be an odd smell every now an then which reminded me of drains. Overall for the price and food quality I'd recommend it. It's also BYOB (Bring your own Booze) and there are shops nearby to get some. Parking is a bit hit and miss, so if you can't park out of the front, you may have to find parking in the business estate. That'll only take you 2 minutes or so to walk to and from.

I recommend pho tai/bun bo hue, the vegetarian spring rolls, the soft shell crab and the vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk. Banh mi is a good option for a quick lunch too! I suggest you eat in and are shown how to eat the pho/bun bo hue if it is your first time :)

What a great little find. In all the years I’ve lived in the county never even knew of this place. We stopped for a pint whilst waiting for a carol concert at the nearby stunning Gloucester Cathedral. We were served quickly and the beer was very tasty. This pub is a great reason for why people should start using pubs again like we used to. Buying alcohol from the supermarket isn’t really the same is it? Maybe pub chains need a bit of marketing to get out out again. Well done the Sword Inn, we shall definitely be back.

Last weekend, my friends and I had a fantastic time at the Kingsholm Inn Pub. It's the perfect spot for rugby fans, with multiple TVs showing the game (with sound on) and friendly staff. We visited both before and after the Gloucester rugby game. The choice of drinks were excellent, and prices are reasonable. The new management, Jade and Julie, have really transformed this place into a fun and welcoming pub. We felt right at home and can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!

The food was outstanding quality and so well presented, we will definitely be back again to try more from the menu. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My friend stayed in the cottage next door which was spotless , beautifully decorated, spacious very comfortable and very well equipped. The perfect venue for a fabulous weekend away , surrounded by stunning countryside so no need to go anywhere else. Thank you .

The Fountain Inn

The place is dog friendly. It has a beautiful terrace and in summer it might be great. It’s really big and the staff is very nice and friendly.Highly recommended. The Fountain Burger is a must have. I am not a burger person but it’s definitely the best.

A lovely experience all round. We came for a mid-week dinner and had 3 delicious courses, with friendly and attentive service, and pleasing surroundings. The restaurant area has a clean and modern vibe, and the bar area is a little more 'traditional pub' - just what you want. We will definitely be back soon!Kid-friendliness: Our 10yr old was welcomed for a grown-up evening meal. It is more of an 'adult' establishment, as it's a proper restaurant, but is family-friendly too.

Well I can’t believe the review saying a member of staff was seen vaping in the kitchen, The kitchen is not visible from the main seating area, could this have been steam from the kitchen as if the back door was open you will definitely get a natural through draft. It would also be very difficult to hear conversations from the staff from the kitchen area. I have been to this establishment many times over the past few years and have always been impressed with the quality and service provided from very professional and friendly staff. We didn't stay here but were looking for a pub to meet up with relatives and we found what we were looking for. Friendly reception on arrival and given varied menus to suit every family's need. There's a mini menu for those who want a smaller meal. They even provide a doggy treat. Never been in a pub that's so anxious to please. Looking forward to our next visit.
