I usually eat here when in Gloucester and highly recommend this place. Had my friend visiting from Holland today and she was very impressed with her quiche and we both agreed that the apple pie and cream was one of the best we've tasted. Excellent and friendly service and many thanks to the young lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) who took some photos for me, hope to see you again soon! ?

Settebello Trattoria

All the food was good, we had arancini and aubergine parmigiana to start which arrived quickly. Ox cheek ragu and the pork belly for mains which were both rich and flavoursome. Decent selection of wines, we had a nice barolo along with a few limoncello in between courses. Everyone who served us was great, friendly and attentive but not overbearing, ended up buying the team a drink as we were the last ones in the restaurant. We were visiting the area for a mini break and glad we stumbled across this place, would recommend!Parking: A minute or two walk to a pay and display car park

Spago Gloucester

A somewhat hidden gem. My favourite place in Goucester. The best Flat White in town (with homemade shortbread cinnamon biscuit!) fabulous sweet and savory pancakes, excellent tapas (I love their sardines!) and excellent wine/beer selection. And FREE PARKING for 2 hours if you dine in. Worth the tiny bit of extra effort to find.

The Square Italian Coffee & Sandwich Bar

Popped in today, had a fabulous ham salad bap , probably one of the nicest ever. Gorgeous bap, very good quality ham, and nice fresh salad. Excellent coffee too. And didn't have one, (silly me!) but they also do an amazing range of home made sausage rolls, scotch eggs and savoury flans which look gorgeous!

Brewhouse & Kitchen - Gloucester Quays

We had a Sunday roast here. I had chicken, and my partner had beef. We added the cheesy cauliflower (extra cost).My chicken was a tad dry. He loved the beef. The cheesy cauliflower was nasty. It was watery and tasteless.I do like how they pair a craft beer with your meals here. There is also a nice choice of beers.The service was great and it's right on the water so the atmosphere is good. Just need to work on that cheesy cauliflower! Especially if they're charging extra for it.Parking: Lots of paid parking around the area. This restaurant requires waking to get to as there isn't parking next to it.

Topoly's Italian

Went out tonight for my boyfriend birthday meal, the service was absolutely amazing and they made it really special with candles and the spaghetti carbonara was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect loved it all

Brilliant local pub! Weekly entertainment!! Used more since Lee and Vicky have taken over than in previous 30yrs we've lived close by!! Reasonable, affordable prices, and great time every visit!! Keep doing what you're doing!!

The Ship Inn

Camped nearby so popped in after a long walk, very friendly staff, big choice of drinks, Inc non alcoholic choices too. Food amazing. Thank u, will b bk.Food & drinks: Great food wiv big choice.

Tiger's Eye Restaurant

Great food and great staff. Can highly recommend the exotic meats on the hot rock. You cook the meat yourself on the hot rock so you can only blame yourself if its not cooked to perfection. One of the best restaurants in Gloucester.

We just had drinks here, ale.Excellent, friendly service from Cam, bar tender.A must go to place and don't forget to ask about their brewery, which is delicious n just a few minutes walk, wobble away. ? ?

We visited here the evening of 15th July for a 30th Birthday meal. There was 20 of us all ordering food. We were very impressed with the service, all food came out correct & piping hot. Lovely food & great staff ?

Cafe Dream

I go to Cafe Dream every time I go to Gloucester which, has been once a week for the last few month's. I cannot fault this cafe it's clean and, the service is always 100%. The food is always lovely and cooked to perfection, I rate it as the best Cafe in Gloucester without a doubt. I recommend this Cafe to everyone who wants to eat whilst in Gloucester.

The Turmut-Hoer

We visit this pub frequently as they are so welcoming with the kids. It’s has a great family atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. The staff and warm and friendly and the food is great. A lovely place for a chilled family meal.

Haywain

Wheatstone Inn

We stayed nearby for 2 nights and ate at the Wheatstone both nights. Nice menu added to with a specials, so good choice. Big plates of food which was pretty good, perhaps a tad light on flavour, bye well cooked and presented.Highlights both nights were our 2 servers Mike and then Niall. Both were bright, efficient, helpful and friendly. We are in our 70,s and in the process of moving so were tired but both helped perk us up! Thank you both

Sowl Fuud

I didn't know what to expect when i ordered it but it is ABSOLUTELY delicious. the chips are great, the wraps are amazing and they even stay warm for awhile. 100% coming back.

High Orchard

When we arrived your staff member didn't seem to know what to do. We said we had made a reservation and she didn't check. We were told to pick a table and just left to it. After 10 minutes I asked how we proceed, ordered our food and drinks and paid (your staff member bought mine to the table as it wasn't pouring properly). The food came and it was first rate but we had no other interaction with your staff as to if we needed anything else or if everything was OK. Hospitality a little lacking food was excellent.Parking: Easy to park and lots of spaces.

Sam's Pizza & kebab

Ordered via Uber. Best kebabs I've ever had,and I've tried many. Loads of meat, crispy fries and lush sauce. Not so keen on the garlic ciabatta, didn't taste of garlic. Maybe that's just my taste buds. Would deffo recommend that you try this place before you try anyone else. You won't be disappointed. ?

Bill's Gloucester Quays Restaurant

Very pleased to have chosen Bill's for breakfast on Tuesday en route to the Stroud Valley. Great food and perfect friendly service from Nicky(?). Parked up over the river and enjoyed the walk through the Docks.

The Pike And Musket

Visited on a very wet evening intending to have a meal but it was so full we left without. We should have booked, They have an area where you can sit with dogs (if there is room). It did have a good atmosphere.

Nepalese Chef

Went there for a meal with friends and loved the place. Staff were friendly and attentive, tolerant of us all arriving at different times (an hour between the first and last of us - sorry!) and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Churchdown Tandoori

This is our new favourite Indian. Used spicy aroma when we first moved to the village and out was ok but never blew me away. Switched to Polash which we found and really enjoyed. Still think they are great but they don't deliver and wanted something delivered so tried Churchdown Tandoori based on the good reviews and so glad we did. Absolutely delicious. Came back for a second time on Christmas eve and was just as impressed. Will be using now as our go to Indian.

Côte Gloucester

We have just had a delicious meal at Cote ... I loved the fact that being Gluten free I was given a whole menu specifically that was gf...so refreshing. The main thing for us though was the exceptional service shown to us by our waiter Alex....he was amazing ...thank you

Dworska Kuchnia Polska

Great food, friendly staff, big portions. Never got round to visiting the previous venue on Barton Street, but this relocation to Longsmith Street looks to be a winner, lovely building to eat in. As a 1st timer when it comes to visiting a Polish restaurant in the UK, I’m impressed and will be back.

Royal Oak

Called in twice this week as working in Cheltenham. Good atmosphere food was nice and staff nice and polite and will happily serve you another pint if the last was flat. Can't argue with that ??

The King Edward Vii

My wife's chicken, avocado and bacon salad was very good for the money. My sea bass was a nice meal, but! There was not much on the plate. a little more potato would have been nice. Also the three stalks of asparagus look lost and forlorn in their solitude. On the question of what constitutes a portion of asparagus the jury is out on whether it is 5 or 6 spears is correct. It most certainly more than 3!

Toby Carvery Highnam

As always and as in every visit to a Toby Carvery very pleased with service and food. The beef I had at Highnam was tender and flavoursome. If you leave a Toby Carvery still feeling hungry then it is you who are doing something wrong. Can't fault the food or the value for money Toby Carvery represent. Easily gets a 10/10 from me.Parking: Lots of space when we arrived about 5pm. Car park was lot fuller when we left at about 6.30pm

Ye Olde Restaurant & Fish Shoppe

Honestly this was the best fish and chips I ever had in the UK. The battered sausage was as well a delicious surprise. They do their own batter which tastes amazing. With home made sauces, locally brews this is definitely a place that I will visit again and I highly recommend to anyone who is around Gloucester. I cannot forget about the location, a wonderful building which is a few hundred years old with a very warm and pleasant atmosphere. Last but not least I would like to say " thank you" to the staff for taking such a good care of us and making sure everything was perfect. Really great people.???

Beefeater Twelve Bells

Great pub! The food was amazing and it has a comfy atmosphere. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant.The fish and chips were delicious and so was the burger.

Food excellent when they get the order right ,twice I have been to the drive in and they have given me something different to what I ordered be advised check you receipt before you leave I think either the intercom is Pants or the operators are deaf apart from that as I say the food is excellent!

Always clean, neat and tidy both on the forecourt and inside the shop.Handy having a posh shop locally for the odd treat.Shelves are well stocked and labelled. Been visiting for a few years now and never seen it messy.Staff are all great; fast, efficient and very friendly. They’re always cheerful no matter what time I call in.

The Linden Tree pub

If you like a decent pint at a good price in a cozy welcoming pub this is a shining example...I recently organised my mother's 60th suprise birthday party here an I was shocked by the incredible staff that was so helpful in helping me an being brilliant hosts ...an giving my mum a birthday she will never forget.I would highly recommend here to anyone that needs a good room or a proper pint

Portivo Lounge

We decided to have brunch here on our way to a rugby match last Saturday. We are so glad we tried Portivo Lounge, a lovely place. 2 had the big lounge breakfast, one had the veggie breakfast and I opted for the gluten free miami brunch with added chorizo. All were very good & there were clean plates all round. The gluten free & vegetarian menus here are great, plenty of choices all day. The miami brunch was a great mix with avocado, salsa, poached eggs, black beans and some delicious cheddar & sweetcorn fritters. We will be back to try tapas next time we are in Gloucester.

Love how dog friendly the place is. The staff are so lovely and the sweet treats are amazing. Can’t wait to come in again to do some office work whist I sit in with a coffee and sweet treats?

Hilltop Restaurant

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Gloucestershire. The menu isn't huge, but there are tasty south Indian dishes and vegetable side dishes at affordable prices. Portions are generous and it's always tasty.It's not usually busy early evening, there's parking, service is generally chilled, drinks are sensibly priced. I've been coming for 30 years, no need to consider going elsewhere.Vegetarian options: Good for vegetarians, recommend masala dosa, plain vada and tarka dal

Balti King Online Asian Cuisine

Incredible vegan selection, excellent value special offers on fantastic quality food. Best I’ve had in years, and will be going back. Hopefully often! If you’re vegetarian or vegan this is the place to go, they do things you won’t find at others and have probably missed. I’ve been told the non vegan dishes were also superb. Lovely people working there too.Vegetarian options: Extensive vegetarian and vegan options, there’s a vegetarian equivalent to everything. They also take care to keep things separate and clearly labelled. They even checked if we were okay with having the veggie stuff in the same carrier bag as the meat and dairy stuff!Dietary restrictions: Huge vegan selection and no confusion of what item contains what.

Dined in, i had previously been put off by some reviews from the past.My meal was quite quite scrumptious in every way.Couldn't fault it ,will be back for more very soon.

Indian Memories

I ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Garlic naan through Uber eats. It was absolutely scrumptious! The Vindaloo gravy stands corrected, spicy level to the point and tender pieces of chicken. The garlic naan was soft with delicate flavour of garlic. I also ordered Tandoori prawns, they were massive. It had a nice hot and charred taste. Trusted Indian flavours, highly recommended!

Popped in here in a rush on our way to an event around 6 p.m. on a Thursday night. Found the staff to be very helpful, food came out quickly and was very tasty. No complaints from us tonight?

Asda Gloucester Supercentre

Tried Asda after being disappointed with my nearest supermarket chain, and I'm so glad I did.The stock availability is great, the prices are so much lower, there's so much more variety, the vegetables are great quality.And the click & collect is quick and easy.

Costa Coffee

Great service as usual. Cake is lovely but we'll over priced for the portion size, but that's the same everywhere. Think about it 16 slices to a standard size cake at £3.75ish, that's a lot of profit. I have it as a treat only and usually when on a reward.Coffee is always hot, and the coolers are great during the summer.Atmosphere? It's a cafe with many people on laptops working remotely.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessable with toilets for disabled.

Starbucks Coffee

From the drive through initial interaction to the order being placed in my hand the service here was outstanding. They were super friendly and eager to please. I have experienced many customer service being poor from other places but the staff at the Eastern Avenue Gloucester branch are truly what good customer service is about. I can't praise them enough.

Costa Coffee

Food is pricey, but was nice. Service was good, but part of our order was missed and we had to remind someone. Very polite, but everyone seems to have a headset on and taking drive thru orders as well as serving front of house. Would be better if someone was dedicated to taking drive thru orders to allow others to properly concentrate on in store customers. Feels like the staff are expected to juggle multiple stations which doesn't seem right.

Mister's Cafe

Stumbled upon this café when looking for lunch on Westgate Street and glad we gave it a go. Food was really good, all homecooked and the all day bubble and squeak was great. Very good range of soft drinks and also three alcoholic drinks on tap. Service was excellent. The cafe was undergoing refurbishment at the time but this did not detract from the experience. Loses one star for atmosphere due to the frosted glazing on the windows - I'd rather be able to see out and watch the world go by.

The scooter boys were having breakfast, the cafe was busy and the food was spot on. Definitely one to visit again and again. Shame it's well over 100 miles away. But I'm sure we'll be down again to visit family and remember parents passed away. Thank you.

Peppers Cafe

Tasty and great value food, friendly people and covid secure venue. They are mostly doing takeaway at the moment but very kindly put out a table for us in the sunny alley - we really appreciated the thoughtfulness and great service. Will be back again if we are ever in Gloucester!

Good selection of Ales & soft drinks. But on Sunday, there is no food & no coffee for non alcohol drinkers . Other than that, it's pub with vibe and a buzzy Sunday lunchtime 'air about it' . We'll done.

Haven't visited for a while but has recently been refurbished. We will go again as it seems to be back to its old ways of friendly staff, regular entertainment, food to be served shortly and a proper local pub.

Lovely local pub with space inside and excellent outdoor booths.The beers brewed by the landlord are outstanding.The building also contains a very good Indian takeaway, which is very useful.
