Banging breakfast and lovely staff.

Well I can’t believe the review saying a member of staff was seen vaping in the kitchen, The kitchen is not visible from the main seating area, could this have been steam from the kitchen as if the back door was open you will definitely get a natural through draft. It would also be very difficult to hear conversations from the staff from the kitchen area. I have been to this establishment many times over the past few years and have always been impressed with the quality and service provided from very professional and friendly staff. Myself family and friends will always use this establishment as we believe it is second to none. Keep up the good work. Well done.Mike and friends

I went here with my wife for our 50th wedding anniversary last week. The food was subpar considering its advertised as luxury but was somewhat reasonably priced. A somewhat young lady was walking around the back vaping frequently and I saw her blow it into the kitchen. The vape was uncomfortably close to my food preparation area and I feel disgusted at what the youth of today seem to be up to. I heard frequent bad language such as calling customers 'pigs' behind the employees only doors and I feel as if this added an uncomfortable atmosphere. My wife is quite insecure and she felt these were aimed at her. Heed my warning! You will find faults!

Stopped in Gloucester for a night and after hunting for a nice spot to have breakfast, my boyfriend and I stumbled across this little gem.I had the Choristers breakfast, and my partner had the pancakes which he enjoyed thoroughly. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and we left with full stomachs and feeling rested. Highly recommend!

Absolutely charming café! I would highly recommend this to everyone!Great choices on the breakfast and lunch menus! And it's such great value! We had a very warm and genuine welcome by a wonderful server, they explained to take a pew and then order at the till. And we literally did take a pew! The pews have comfortable cushions on (apt name "comfy pew") and even have some throws out, so if you get a bit chilly, you can feel more cozy.On my list to visit again!

Just called in for coffee and cake. I was most impressed by the customer service....the young chap who served us was soooooo professional!! ?. I suppose you could say we are regular customers; about once a month.

This is such a great little cafe! We holiday in Gloucester every year in November and found this place a couple of years back now. Since then its become a ritual that we visit for breakfast at least once during our holiday. Its a wonderful little place, right next to the cathedral in a quirky old building. Theres always a lovely warm welcome and atmosphere here which we really enjoy. The staff are smiley and friendly and manage the busy service well. The breakfast is always top quality, hot and great value and there are good options for those not wanting a fry up, including a vegan breakfast option.Theres 5 of us and a dog most times we visit with various dietary requirements and requests and the staff manage our complicated orders well and when we ordered an extra sausage for the dog it even came out already chopped up and cooled down ready for the pooch to eat! (We were quite impressed with that haha)This really is a must visit cafe to any Gloucester local or visitor, but its popular and often busy so we always book and would reccommend others do too!Vegetarian options: They offer both a vegetarian and a vegan fry up type breakfast as well as other options on the menu that cater for both requirementsParking: There is no parking by the cafe but its only a short walk from the main Gloucester town/docks carparksKid-friendliness: Our son loves the fact that they have pancakes and french toast on the breakfast menu!Wheelchair accessibility: Not ideal for wheelchairs due to it being an old quirky building with the walkways through seating areas being quite narrow but there may be ability to accommodate a wheelchair yser at the table by the till.

First time I've visited today and I'm glad I did. The breakfast was lovely. 1 of the best I've had in Gloucester if not the best. Lovely and quite unique inside. Lovely part of Gloucester and the waitress who served me was very friendly as was all the staff. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Il definitely be making regular visits from now on!

Me and my daughter popped in here for our breakfast. The food was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The customer service was second to none too. See you in six weeks time.
