This is a pleasant Costa Coffee, apart from the toilet facility, which is poorly maintained and dirty!!!!! Handle is falling off the door, with screws hanging out- accident waiting to happen. This toilet facility is extremely dirty- build up of dirt on floor and around all floor and wall furniture!!!!!! Health hazard.

Went to costa in Brynmawr with some work colleagues, we had just been made redundant and were discussing next steps. We each bought 2 drinks one colleague bought a toasted sandwich. A total of 6 times we went up to the counter and not once were we told about the parking charge, or the time limit on our stay by any member of staff. None of us saw the signage either going in or coming out! Disgusting practice by costa I am totally appalled that all three of us got a £100 fine. I will not use costa again I will take my money and buy my coffee elsewhere in future. Shame on you costa!!

Clearing own table all the time but it's the sanitizing - never see it - it's so random. No proper cleaningbwhen people leave. I won't be going there anymore as I get ill or worried I'll get ill every time I go there. Dirty tissues,people coughing and sneezing all over tables and sitting babies on tables !!! Nappy in contact with table, sticky tables, snot tissues on tables, tables not cleared and when they are cleared, they leave wet,crumbs,milk and coffee stains on tables. No regard for hygiene and with all the infections going around - I'm sick of it now - filthy reception for customers who have to clean their own and some toilet doors are black with dirt. Basic hygiene not there. No hygiene standards. They sell food!!!

Was certainly not worth the £100 parking ticket. I had high hopes that this was somewhere I could go to frequently, to meet friends and work, those hopes are dashed. Will not be returning again.

Received an offer via my loyalty app for a free iced drink to be claimed over the following week. I scanned my app at the till and the reader beeped. But the server had thought I was paying by apple pay even though I'd told him it was a giftcard. I asked if the app had been scanned properly - he told me it had. I then asked him to check the receipt - he looked at it and told me the app had been scanned. When I looked at the receipt it obviously hadn't. I asked a second server to scan the app properly in order to access the offer. The first one had moved on to another customer. The second server added the usual points but didn't add the free drink. I pointed this out and then he outright lied to me. He said the free drink was added to the app the next day. I pointed out that this was not true and showed him my husband's phone where he'd received the offer immediately having bought a drink earlier in the day. The second server (stocky dark haired man) then repeated his lie. Instead of actually dealing with the issue, dishonest staff trying to fob off customers to cover up their own incompetence. Disgraceful. Will never visit again and we used to visit on a regular basis.

Not sure how this place scores so high! The glacial staff re-write the definition of slow service. To fair they need at least three staff on not two. However the service was so slow that before I even got my hot chocolate the word hot no longer applied. Well that was disappointing….

The drinks were definitely not worth the £100 parking ticket received afterwards. Will not return for this reason and would advise others to avoid!

Very busy but the ladies were very cheerful and helpful. They are a credit to the company.
Charged £100 for parking while getting a coffee and lunch with my twins. My friend whom I met with her baby was charged also. Beware 60 minutes maximum. The time it takes alone to get out the car and back into the car with twins get them settled in high chairs and fed already runs over the 60 minutes you are allowed to park. It is daylight robbery and I will not be back.
