Wow, what a friendly and professional team!! From the moment we walked in, we had a great time. Fun and banter, with the staff. My food was that good, I had to let my girlfriend have a bite!! They even happily served us a lovely hot dessert, even though we'd left it far too late. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back, very soon!!

2nd visit inside a month .. this time for Sunday Lunch .. Didn’t start too well .. had carvery and had to wait for several items .. thought the meat portion was small and gravy was not thick .. some items weren’t hot enough either .. The food itself was nice though. Think ? it has new management.. So hopefully will get better overall as it’s a nice place. ??

Has a really nice feel about it & the service was excellent! Last time I visited it didn’t flow as well & was a bit messy! The staff all seemed to gel & actually they interact with customers well, which is lovely to see, so the atmosphere was great! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a Friendly feel & great food!

I was disappointed. No greet upon arrival, not shown to table, was told it was at the top of the restaurant with a reserved sign on it. No steaks on the menu, nachos served nothing like to photo, gammon over cooked, general cooking quality was poor.

Fine, big pub. Good for large parties. Food seemed to be pre made microwave oven grub. Taste nice enough and does what it says on the tin so to speak.

Absolutely appalling service. Waiting over an hour and counting for food, place is dead so it's not down to being busy, will not be returning .

Not a very good experience atall. Despite the restaurant looking quiet we found ourselves waiting over an hour for our food to arrive, the food was bland, the steak had no taste to it atall (I've had better Steaks from a supermarket), the children's food was overcooked and solid. This lead to us not eating most of our meal after having spent a substantial amount of money. The young girl (slender with dark hair) that served us was lovely and cant fault her on that. However some staff seemed to not be doing much, or having conversations (gossiping) behind the bar regarding other staff members. This trip here was a dissapointment, what a shame. Hopefully its not like this all the time, or some improvements get made - till then, I wouldnt reccomend it to anyone.
