Seriously the best food I've had in an age. Best olives ever; wife hates olives and she loved them. Tapas perfect as was service. Cannot recommend enough to anyone who loves Mediterranean food.

Absolutely dreadful experience! The salmon dish arrived with cold, fridge-tasting salmon, and the bread was stale, hard, and drenched in oil. However, the low point was yet to come. During our family lunch, the owner made utterly unacceptable remarks that were both sexist and xenophobic. As a Portuguese restaurateur, he saw fit to disparage Indian immigrants in England, drawing an inappropriate parallel to Brazilians in Portugal. His comments were not only rude but completely uncalled for. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this establishment.

We love dining at Sebz. The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. We try to visit every time we come to Gloucester.

Had the all you can eat option at a work do for £25.99. Loads of food with lots of different choices coming out. Lovely, friendly service.

Needed somewhere quick to eat and found my new favourite restaurant! The waitress was super nice, offered us some Portuguese potato bread before our meals came out.We had the tapas, and everything was so tasty. Cooked perfectly, well thought out portion sizes, and for a reasonable price too! The lighting and atmosphere was perfect, made some great photos!

A hidden gem of Gloucester serving Tapas at fair prices. We came in the late afternoon on a Saturday when it was reasonably quiet and had an excellent experience. We were asked if we wanted to try the homemade bread, a cheesy garlic sourdough-style bread that cost £5.50. It was excellent, and we had no regrets. We each ordered 3 tapas and our total bill was £43 inclusive of a 10% service charge, which we were happy to pay. The tapas was delicious with fair portion sizes considering the quality on offer - the peppers stuffed with rice and patatas bravas were both particularly nice. The hostess was especially accommodating with respect to allergies. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Understanding and helpful with respect to food allergies

What the heck was I just served?! This in no way resembles Mediterranean tapas. More like a child's buffet of the Iceland frozen party food section served at my 6th birthday disco. Bland, random, poor quality.Staff then proceeded to try and overcharge the table by £100 of 'service fee'. We didn't pay this, you shouldn't either. No real vegan options either for vegan guests, and the general price is extortionate for the toot they serve here. £5 for 3 scoops of the worst quality vanilla ice cream for a 'dessert'.Also, make sure to bring arctic level ski jackets for the toilet or you're at risk of catching hypothermia. All in all, broaden your horizons and literally eat anywhere else. Taco Bell a few streets down would give you a more authentic international cuisine experience.

We arrived relatively early at roughly 5pm to an empty restaurant and positively greeted by the lovely waitress (Eva I believe her name was?). We were seated on a fairly uncomfortable chair in quite a dim area, so was quite difficult to see what was happening on the table when eating. After being seated we were quickly asked about drinks and were presented with a menu. We went with a Sangria (which was out of this world!) and a Coca Cola. After this arrived, our food order was taken to which was a poorly presented menu with fairly confusing instructions and terrible descriptions for the food items, not to mention the fact the menu itself was a bulky slat of wood - weird idea? Despite us being the only customers at the time of being served, it still took 45 minutes for our first round of courses to arrive.Food Ordered:// Chicken stuffed with mozzarella — Dense as a rock, had a really solid texture on the inside and was very chewy for a piece of chicken. Felt like I was eating gum. Parma ham was nice and well baked on the outside.// Piri Piri Chicken — Similar texture problem to the previous. Most of the chicken items received were either thighs or leg, and didn’t actually have much “meat” on them, majority was either carcass or pure bone(inedible). Sauce itself was tasty, quite thin in terms of consistency though - normally I’d opt for a slightly thicker option but nice nonetheless.// Fried Potatoes — Basically just cubes of potatoes stuck in a deep fat fryer drowned in salt. Nothing special at all. Dip provided was way too spicy and overpowering to accompany the food, wouldn’t recommend.// Breaded Mozzarella Bites?? — Coating was cohesive and crispy, though very bland. It came glazed in honey, presentation of that looked abysmal (literally looked like the honey was dropped and drowning the poor cheese bites :(). Honey had a chilli taste too it, far too overpowering for this dish.Additionally, as you work your way through multiple courses, you’ll begin to realise your portion sizes getting increasingly smaller. For example, on the first round of Piri Piri Chicken, I was presented with a leg, breast, and thigh. On the second round a leg and thigh. Third round, just 2 thighs, of which 80% was inedible.I’ve seen better food presentation done by my younger brother in his secondary school catering lessons than here. It’s kind of just shamelessly thrown on a plate and served to the table. This put me off the food before I even entered the building. If it wasn’t for a very excited partner looking to relive her childhood memories at this place, I wouldn't have come. Disappointing to say the least.Menu choice was pretty s*** to say the least. Wouldn’t say this represents a med tapas restaurant, and to echo a previous review, it looks like a bunch of Iceland party food bits smacked into a bowl and nuked in the microwave for 60 seconds. For 26£ each, I expected world class hospitality. I’d expect this quality from a chicken shop on Barton street delivered by an Uber eats driver called Akmed. Not to mention, when ordering our 2nd round of items, the bald bowling ball chef rolled down the stairs and began shouting at the waitress about our order due to her poor handwriting. He seemed very stressed about a table of two, must burst a few blood vessels cooking for a table of 3!Where the waitress was lovely, and she definitely helped during our evening meal, she was rather eager to share her art with us and proceeded to showcase it to us, amongst other tables of which we observed during the evening. I wouldn’t say she forced us, but she was rather keen to put us in a position where we should buy a card from her, which as far as I’m aware - wasn’t a part of the Sebz business. The item was lovely however, though she insisted we pay cash for the item. When we noted we were not able to do this, she added it to the bill and we were charged service charge on that amount! All in all, this put us off significantly and won’t be returning to somewhere that treats their staff and customers so poorly.

We had an absolutely delicious dinner made up of six different tapas. Very hard to say which one we preferred because each was so savory and good. The restaurant is bright and colorful and Eva our server was lovely, attentive and charming. We will return next time we are in Gloucester. Bonus points for being open on a Monday night!

Visited with my husband, we both chose from the tapas menu.A la carte and pizzas also available. The tapas was great, potions were generous.3 dishes per person was plenty, plus we had a delicious portion of garlic bread, great for finishing up the sauces.
