Went here for the 2nd time with a friend for a light lunch. Had a bacon and mushroom jacket potato, which was very tasty. Also had a pudding an apple crumble with custard.

Fantastic Sunday lunch …can’t beat it. Trad with all the trimmings. Family lunch kids loved it and there not easy to please ???Mum had a nice meal and the staff made sure she was ok cos she can be fussy ?will be back

What a pleasure to find The Barge in Gloucester which is head and shoulders above the expensive and dull mass catering of most outlets in the docs. A freshly prepared chicken and mushroom dish served with fuelling followed by wine poached pear and ice cream plus a large diet coke all for under 20 pounds. Lovely setting and perfect service. So very good.

We have been for an evening meal before and thought it was fab. So on the spur of the moment we popped in for lunch to give it a go. It is such a lovely place to visit. The service is very friendly, food home cooked and tasty, and so so reasonably priced. I would recommend a lunch/evening visit and wouldn't be disappointed.

What a fantastic little find. The waitress and the kitchen staff were fabulous and very accommodating. Very clean and made to feel very welcome and great with the children. And on top of it all great value for money.

Fabulous Sunday lunch and service my husband has certain food allergies and the owners made absolutely sure that there was nothing in his meal that he would react to. Very pleasant people good varied menu excellent prices. Definately will be back.Dietary restrictions: They took great care re my husbands allergies, very refreshing about places see it as a pain.

First off this is not some fancy place. But what it offers is very good food and friendly service.No alcohol license but no problems as they are then happy to provide glassware so you can bring your own.In closing I would recommend.
