We visited at lunch time yesterday for the first time for my mums birthday. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and we were able to move two tables together to accommodate 6 of us. The smoothie was delicious! Food was great. We ordered dirty fries,a hot dog,a breakfast wrap and a children's toast with fruit. All delicious and hot. Took some cakes home with us too.

I went here for lunch yesterday and was extremely impressed. The service from Julie was so friendly, inviting and accommodating. The food was beautiful and reasonably priced with dairy options available for us none vegan folk. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming and relaxing. We went with little ones and there is one high chair available and changing facilties within the toilets. I highly recommend The Happy Shroom and will be returning again soon!Kid-friendliness: High chair available and changing facilities within the toilet. Julie was super welcoming to the children.Wheelchair accessibility: Disability door available with button to open itself.

Have been here a few times now, the staff are always so lovely, LOADS of vegan options. Food and drink is so good & reasonably priced. Today I had a gingerbread iced coffee & lemon drizzle pancakes. Bought a slice of carrot cake home too. All vegan and only £12.40 for everything. Incredible!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!

We had a lovely lunch at the Happy Shroom. The foot was delicious and after telling the staff that my wife had just given birth they provided her a takeaway meal on the house - so kind and thank you again!

Came on the recommendation of my sister but was really disappointed.Took 15 minutes to order drinks and a further 55 minutes before our food arrived. We ordered a vegan cheese and onion wrap and an eggs Benedict. After 35 minutes we asked how long our food would be and were told 5 minutes and continued to wait another 20 minutes before our food arrived. We had to ask again after another 15 minutes. The excuse for the late food was that they have a small kitchen (there was only one table of 3 who had ordered before us, no other food came out in the hour and a half that we were there) and I think that it's actually down to having too many options on the menu and not being able to prepare and execute them properly. When the food arrived, the eggs Benedict was covered in what tasted like cayenne pepper and my mum couldn't eat it. Even I, and I like spicy food, found it too much. When I mentioned to the lady that my mum couldn't eat it because it was covered in spice she said it was part of the recipe but it didn't state this anywhere on the menu.I'd maybe come back here for a coffee and a cake if I wasn't in a rush but 1 hour and 20 minutes for one coffee, one lemonade, a cheese and onion wrap and a portion of eggs Benedict (one slice or sourdough, ham and two poached eggs and hollandaise) is just a bit ridiculous.
