went for dinner last night, the food was absolutely lovely, I had the halloumi wrap, husband had curry feast, all presented really well, hot and tasty. Rob and his team are really freindly and make you feel really welcome. This is our local and its a great community pub. Will be going again soon. Thank you Rob and team.

Visited the pub last minute. Great menu with a selection of meals 2 for £11. We had the fish and chips. Lovely meal well worth the money, staff were friendly too. Food was delivered promptly and the table was cleaned soon after we had finished. Would definitely go there again.

We love the friendly atmosphere here. It feels like home from home. Kids love the pool table. Food is always good and reasonable with good options for all tastes and dietary needs. Rob always makes us feel welcome.

The landlord was very friendly and welcoming. Quick service and went around checking how everyone’s meals were, a great asset to the buisness, me and my family love coming here.

Regular customer. Disappointed in there new menu. Ordered Rib and Rump. Expecting the pork Rib with the steak as usual. Instead it was a steak on a bone which was just fat on a bone and a overcooked steak..served with cold chips and fried onions . Chips were thin with skins on and not the usual thick chips. The pork Rib was so succulent last time and I don't understand why they are not serving it anymore. Such a shame and we asked for our money back due to the eef dripping source not served and waited but it did not come .mostly the steak which was just a lump of fat . We won't be eating here again . Why oh why did they change the menu. Is there a shortage of pigs .No pork ribs or any pork on menu . Very disappointed ?

Always used weekly for couples meal out, new menu similar names but not in quality! Pork is off the menu with a rough half rib (lump of rough fatty) of beef, quickly cold thin cut skin on chips! To top the service the sauce ordered was not delivered to the table with the food even after asking twice! Will gladly pay the £4 bus fare extra, to the Marston's pub from now on! Oh if you want fish and chips then don't expect fish from the continent as it's cheap Asian pond life in batter!

Went to have a meal , as we arrived the pub was rather empty with dirty dishes and cups over most tables. Once we found a rather clean table there was no menu for food. Asked a member of staff at the bar (slim boy with long hair with colour highlishs) and he was extremely rude and said get one from another table. So if you eat her expect dirty tables, clean your own table and search other tables for a menu. Probably the worst attitude I've ever witnessed from a bar attendant. Food was average my steak was a bit overcooked but consistent to the chain.

We go to the Pike at least once a week and the food and service is always spot on. I would recommend the Salmon as a personal favourite.
