Stayed at the Premier Inn on New Years Eve and had our breakfast at this place. Lady on front desk and running around everywhere was lovely. Hot breakfast was made to order and all great. Kids eat free so family of 4 cost £20 which is really good.

Twelve Bells has become our "go to" restaurant for NY Eve with out friends as it is what it is - they serve relatively good food at a reasonable price and this visit was no exception. Our server was fantastic (older lady, didn't catch her name) she was attentive withour being over bearing, drinks choices were ok. That being said, my biggest gripes on this occasion was the food. Medium rare Ribeye, came out a shade rarer than expected. The rump on the mixed grill was TINY, and a side of Garlic & herb pan fried King Prawns amounted to two prawns. Literally the bare minimum you can get away with to use the plural "prawns" At £5, this was a bit of a joke. And they didn't appear to be pan fried in the sauce - it was given to me in a relish pot. Overflowing. A bit of over kill for 2 measly prawns. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our evening as we always do and the food did taste ok but was a little disappointed on this occasion.

Wasn’t expecting much, but admit to having a really nice meal in here on NYE. Used the meal deal offer as staying at the Premier Inn next door. Had the ribs and chicken combo and the cheesecake for pudding with wine. Very nice. Really good value as had the breakfast the next day as well (which was also good). Staff were good, friendly and attentive. Enjoyed it.

Graham looked after us from start to finish, his service was impeccable and attentive. Eating out with kids can be difficult, but he made it much easier for us and providing us with with things like teaspoons for eating beans, etc without us even needing to ask.Food was really good a well, everything tasted fresh and it was really good value.Highly recommended and again, massive thank you to Graham!Kid-friendliness: Graham was excellent and provided us additional help/support for the little ones.

It's good and you definitely get what you pay for.Don't expect anything special, like ronseal, it does exactly what it says on the tin.Simplistic menu, with a surprising amount of choice on there.Definitely good on a budget.

Excellent service here from attentive staff. Hadn't booked a table but didn't need to wait to be seated.Breaded mushroom starter was watery on the inside and the mushrooms were a bit chewy; the batter/crumb mix was very strong.Chicken wings starter was good.Lasagna main and Gammon mains were perfect and the triple fried chips crunchy and fluffy.Dietary restrictions: A full allergens sheet was provided which detailed the allergens found in each menu item

We had a very good meal at this large Beefeater. The steaks were very well cooked and very tasty. The restaurant has a large bar area service Doom Bar and London Pride which was a nice surprise. The restaurant is adjacent to a Premier Inn and therefore can get very busy. I would recommend booking in advance to avoid a wait. There is a large free car park next to the eatery.

Stopped here on our way home from a short break in Birmingham. We found the staff cheerful and welcoming and the service was excellent. The food was excellent also and the atmoshere was busy but not smothering. A lovely building too. Will certainly return.

Great service but food was poor. I ordered a plant stack and I tasted horrible. It looked like it hadn’t been cooked properly and I got a handful of fries along with some horrible tasting slaw. For the price it was very poor.

We went for Sunday morning breakfast, the food was great and the service was even better! Julie looked after us really well with a smile and cheerful conversation! Would recommend the Beefeater Twelve Bells to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

Absolutely love Twelve Bells. Me and my friends go every Friday and always enjoy our experience. Good food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Absolutely dreadful! The barman was the most miserable person I’ve ever met, couldn’t speak a word. I ordered food not a word spoken, 20 minutes later he slapped it on the table in front of me, not a word spoken. No knife and fork, no condiments, I had to go in search of them. Absolutely atrocious. Never again.

The Breakfast was terrible. I’m amazed people rate this more than one star. Not your usual breakfast- two staff running around doing everything and the worst ‘English breakfast’ I’ve ever eaten.
